someone finally subbed all of the cut scenes for the Gundam UC Engage originally story with Pesce and it is actually good. I wish this had been a 6 or 12 episode OVA showing her life as a Zeon trainee at Flanagan and later her life as a test pilot for Anaheim.

No it's not. "The Kampher Beam Weapon Type / Type F" is literally just a single blurb in the model kit instructions basically saying that you can equip the Kampher with the Gelgoog Jager's beam machine gun if you want to. It's not some unique mystery unit. Though we see the Kampher with a beam saber anyway so it might be better to think of the Beam Weapons Type as just a different weapons load out for the Kampher than what we originally saw in 0080.
I love how its supposed to be a high mobility, but its still even chunkier than either of the units it's based on. I still dig it though. Would love to get a Kamfer and kit bash it.
Mobile doesn't mean small, it seems like the designers here just goes with the brute force method that just straps as many generators and boosters as possible without turning it into an entirely new suit
Bulk makes no difference in space. Technically speaking it's the exact same size as a standard Kampfer, it just has the sturm booster from the Gerbera Tetra. It would actually fit the exact same dimensions as the original Gerbera in terms of height minus about .2 meters.
This is a really nice fight, some nice tactical moments, this gundam is really quick and agile. Seeing a kampfer is always a treat, this feels like a good end fight to a ova

I'm not an engineer or anything, but if zeon was able to redesign a half built gundam into the gerbera tetra I don't see why they couldn't do this as well. I mean, it's just a kampfer head, frontal torso, and lower body with the shoulder thrusters and the backpack from the gerbera tetra. I'd imagine it would be a matter of reinforcing the torso to withstand the higher weight of the shoulders and backpack and modifying the fuel system as well for those parts. And of course modifying the OS to accomodate for the parts as well.

Because they tend to be more dynamic with their piloting. To make up for being on the lower end of the stick in terms of their forces, they tend to have more dynamic designs and take more risks. When you compare the FA-78 to the Pyscho Zaku, you can see how their designs tend to break down. The Zaku is a cobbled together mess that it meant to give the pilot as much as possible while having almost no backup options so it would get shredded with a direct attack. On the other side, the Gundam is kitted out to the nines in offensive and defensive gear, but is restricted by it as well, effectively limiting its full potential. The design philosophy is clearly different.

So the Kampfer/Gerbera hybrid pilot used to be friends with Engage Zero's pilot but would rather die than be rescued by her now enemy? Par for the course for Zeonic crazies, I guess. Although I'm not too hot on Engage Zero's design, it looks cool in action. The Kampfer has always looked good tho.

We've seen what the cockpit looks like inside the Kampfer, where tf did she fit a bazooka and why? Fighter pilots don't have room to carry rifles just in case their jet gets shot down either.
I do not know why but I've always pronounced her name as 'Luminaria' instead of 'Lunamaria', even AFTER I learned better! I've just never really liked the true pronunciation. It sounds silly for some reason :P

Kampfer High Mobility? That's a redundant statement. I don't recall the Kampfer lacking mobility when it tanked an entire squadron single handedly then only lost to a Gundam in full Chobham armor because it ran out of weapons and the Gundam's pilot was too cowardly to engage it in a saber duel. All that and it was being piloted a fat old drunk.
