Every clip here except one was from that battle and the one that wasn't takes place less than two weeks before it. It's one thing to try and built a menacing villain faction, but this much is just pseudo-nazi fanboying. (The OYW is literally a WW2 analogy where zeon are the axis and federation the allies)

This one’s my favorite Federation General MS in GBO2. Pretty fast, pretty reliable, and really good Ranged multiplier to make good on the bullpup machinegun which is more than enough to get rid of mobile suits in all the available cost tiers it’s allowed in. Sadly, I cannot say the same about the ground version though. Especially when you have access to plenty of good/better options on ground maps.
GM's performed very well. It's just one of those scenarios where a good weapon system is deployed in a conflict that is insanely lethal. Anyone in any machine without plot armor is as good as dead from any solid hit.

I like how the GM Command (Or many of the War in the Pocket designs in general) was supposed to just be a re-design of the original GM from 1979, but seeing as to how they could literally make more money if Bandai made it its own thing, Bandai did so.

I just wanna make several GBO2 references... Gelgoog Jaeger is getting loads of kills cos he's type-effective against GMs. I wish the Beam Gun could fire that quickly. Should've taken longer to kill that Gelgoog Cannon since it's type-resistant.
Can be good only if the beam gun staggers, but thats too much for something from 250c. I read about the gun with larger canister in the back should be able to shoot a more continuous beam. Reverse to old melee damage, health and sideway/backward movement speed may help.
The Jaeger is just stupidly powerful. Something like 2 times faster than a standard gelgoog with a beam machine gun on top of that. Thrust to weight it is faster than the Zeta Gundam

It was supposed to be the "regular GM" in 0080. Bandai wanted to retcon the old designs entirely, but they decided not too. So the new designs are just upgraded suits.
The basic GM Is faster than a gundam, it's armor is just slightly weaker. It's still as armored as a Dom though. That would make the Gelgoog slower than a GM, but better armored. In an era of beam weapons that's basically little more than a side grade as any armor fails to a direct beam hit (besides plot armor of course) The GM outguns every zeon suit besides the Gelgoog and a few ace customs. And this is before large numbers of upgrades the GM line got.
Funny how the lore says that by the battle all except one of the clips depict almost all of zeon's skilled pilots were dead and they were so down to raw recruits the average federation pilot was more skilled. However you can't actually tell due to a mix of hamfisted writing and zeon fanwank. Even the one clip from a previous battle takes place less than two weeks before that.
Nothing does my heart good more than GMs playing as powerful as they actually are.

ジムコマの銃はスプレーガンではありませんよ…それからリックドムのジェネレータに2発とありますが、1発目は肩と胸のところでジェネレータではありませんし、2発目は胴体部を貫通しているのでジェネレータとは言えないのではないでしょうか?

ジムコマを宇宙用に改修した機体 主な違いは姿勢制御スラスターの増加などで、特にバックパックにその違いが現れている。
機体性能は高く、スプレーガンから連射性を犠牲に威力を上げたビームガンを装備するなど高性能機ではあるのだが、いまいち活躍に恵まれなかった。
しかし後にガンダム7号機のパイロットとなるユーグ機はビグロすら落とすという多大な戦果を上げた
フォルムとかも好きだった機体なだけに、ちょっとモヤっとしますね

Yep. This gun going from burst to sniper single shot is why the Jaeger is formidable.
The Jaeger also has a very very high thrust power thats said to be even more powerful than even the Crossbone Gundam

I wish the Beam Gun could fire that quickly.
Should've taken longer to kill that Gelgoog Cannon since it's type-resistant.
Can be good only if the beam gun staggers, but thats too much for something from 250c. I read about the gun with larger canister in the back should be able to shoot a more continuous beam. Reverse to old melee damage, health and sideway/backward movement speed may help.
The Jaeger is just stupidly powerful. Something like 2 times faster than a standard gelgoog with a beam machine gun on top of that.
Thrust to weight it is faster than the Zeta Gundam

It was supposed to be the "regular GM" in 0080. Bandai wanted to retcon the old designs entirely, but they decided not too. So the new designs are just upgraded suits.

Judging by the bgm, it's clip from Record of Battlefield, so I think the pilot was Hugh Courard, who will be team's leader of Phantom Sweep.

As far as I understand in terms of general performance, discounting pilots: Gundam=Gelgoog>GM>Zaku
The basic GM Is faster than a gundam, it's armor is just slightly weaker. It's still as armored as a Dom though.
That would make the Gelgoog slower than a GM, but better armored.
In an era of beam weapons that's basically little more than a side grade as any armor fails to a direct beam hit (besides plot armor of course)
The GM outguns every zeon suit besides the Gelgoog and a few ace customs.
And this is before large numbers of upgrades the GM line got.
Funny how the lore says that by the battle all except one of the clips depict almost all of zeon's skilled pilots were dead and they were so down to raw recruits the average federation pilot was more skilled. However you can't actually tell due to a mix of hamfisted writing and zeon fanwank. Even the one clip from a previous battle takes place less than two weeks before that.
