I often see Plumbago growing in my neighbourhood, and wonder if it's any good in the vase... Now I will happily add it to my gardens, knowing that I have yet another landscape beauty that doubles as cutting material :)
Another great tutorial - thanks so much!

This brought back sweet memories of helping my grandmother slip the seed covers off her branches of money plant! Wish she was still here growing it ❤️ Beautiful arrangement, Amy! You also inspired me to pull out that old silver pitcher I have stored away!!! I like how you used “informal” flowers in yours

Just found a great pewter jug at my local op shop, this tutorial was perfectly timed! A great inspiration. Thankyou, as always.

Love all these flowers! What are the first few flowers you used in this arrangement? I'd like to look for them. Thank you!

Some of them don't look like they would be in water. Is the pitcher full?

Yes, the pitcher is full and they are all in water!

I LOVE this arrangement and the color/texture combo. A good antique patina'd pitcher is my favorite type of vessel to design in. I has such a heritage-y feel to it. Five more days til I see you!!! Squeee! XOXO @daisydillandpeaflorals

    A question for you, Amy:
In general, wouldn't dried materials rot being soaked in water?

Hi! Thanks for your comment! I have experimented with this quite a bit and it depends a lot on the individual dried flower. If you use strawflower or something really thin, it can disintegrate but I haven't noticed any faster than a fresh flower may disintegrate. Lunaria or money plant which is what I used here holds up really well. :)
