  • In this episode of Day Tripping with the flyguys we're checking out a "could be some big fish" report with an intel mission to determine if a little local lake might have some trophy trout potential! This is a neat little lake for some fall stillwater fly fishing so armed with our proven fall fly patterns we set out to see what we could do! Check it out to see how we breakdown our search, what we find, and an in show tying session for the hot fly of the day! 🙃

My new fishing partner 'enlightened' me on a sure fire method of figuring out if a lake has lunkers. He uses a Ma Bell rig! It is shockingly effective. If you do try it out, dont hold the probes if Rob is near the crank handle. Enjoying the videos Bobber Boys. Keep it up.

We have been doing a tying video for each episode in a separate video also. The following Wednesday after an episode plays we follow up with a tying video for the flies of the day. Check them out if ya haven’t👍🏻

Haha awesome catch on the first fish!
What kind of finder are you using? Does it have side-imaging capabilities?
