  • We've tried the FLTOM, we've tried the Danchel and the Redcamp, now it's time to try out the Red Mountain Valley wood burning stove - one of the cheapest we've found to date.
This video shows the first burn of the Red Mountain Valley wood stove, and provides some initial thoughts about setup and how it performs, and whether we are likely to use it again for our regular winter camping trips.
    Hope you enjoy!
If you've already used this wood stove, or have used something comparable, what do you think about it? Please share your thoughts in the comments!

Using cast iron cookware is ideal with this sort of stove. A dutch oven with a lid that doubles as a skillet would be ideal.
