He’s 23 with the house in 2024. That’s not a bad for a starter. As for the height of the house, it should’ve been explained when he bought it. I guess he didn’t read the description. Plus colors can always be changed. I think he just made a fast purchase without doing his research first, that’s on him not on the house.

I am 6'4" and would be hitting my Head Constantly if he is 5'8" and almost touching the ceiling.. Also, You Can find Less Expensive ones on that site.. BUT Would have been Less Expensive to Buy a Prebuilt Shed ( CASH! NOT Rent To Own! ) and Finished Off Himself. And Still Had Money left over...

Try buying a real house for less than $27k to find out everything has to be gutted because you only have the foundation, not to mention the location. Researching is always the 1st step and process in understanding what you're getting to align expectations accordingly. The sad part is you're now stuck with something you don't want and the odds of recouping your financial loss may be difficult. This may be a lesson learned, unfortunately. 🙏🏿

Basically what he bought was a double wide, CONTAINER house. The problems that I can see that he would run into are related to many things. 1) INSURANCE -- That:s the big one. Does he have: homeowner's, fire, flood, earthquake, home warranty or eathquake insurance (depending upon where he lives). 2) Zoning laws, 3) problems with taxes. 4) City services. Like sewer hook up? That's usually a biggie !!! Did he check to see IF, the area he lives in will allow him to, 'set up shop' where he wants w/o being hooked up to, or connected to certain utility services. Some cities or counties will till you that if you have a home structure you HAVE to be connected to city facility services, too. 5) A heating / cooking source. Does he have propane or natural gass to use?
What's sometimes happens with these so-called 'container' houses or houses that can be deemed as a 'container house' is that it's very hard if at all possible to even get insurance for those structures which means he could have a house, no mortgage it's all his ....... bought and paid for but what happens if something happens to the house and he has no insurance, what does he do then? That's where one of the biggest problems will come in.
Not saying any of the above because, I don't like what he did. I'm not happy for him. It's just the opposite. I'm just putting out some other food for thought and hoping that he's checked into these things before he bought it. And the other big thing about the zoning laws I hope he looked into the zoning laws for the city and county that he lives in to make sure that wherever he set up his house at that the area is properly zoned for such pop-up structures.
None of this is meant to throw or pour cold water on his awesome buy. I just hope that passed the cheap price and the outer structure set up convenience....... I just hope that he and or someone else has counseled him on some of the other things I mentioned above. Would hate to find out later on that he basically either had to abandon his structure move his structure or have it torn down.
