It depends on specifications, like what specs you want in that house.
Probably go with a big shed and make it into a house

Made like iso trailors I used to deploy as part of depmeds system. OR, Lab, Radiology all hade ISO boxes that open just like that. I bet you could get these from military surplus because they are a lot sturdier.
Yea, military surplus would be much better and probably cheaper. They have plugs, lights, airconditioning ducts built in. No plumbing though.

Not a bad price, if you buy two or three of them and hook them all up together it would make a decent living area. It's ok for one person in its single mode. I suppose you could tack carpeting to the walls to gain decorative insulation. And line some of the flooring with carpet as well.

I understand. It seemed to me that they might use it for a vacation or camping area home. Because they looked like they really might hook up water and electricity later. Maybe. I'm just guessing.
These types of fold out homes can be purchased from a variety of places. You usually need to own a piece of property to place it on. You usually need permission from your local city council to set it on your land and permission to hook it up to local electricity and water.
People who own a home already might add this type of building next to their house to house their elderly mother or teenager who needs space.
These guys are one of the only people that make me actually laugh
