Veronika Rostovcevaite she normally works out at home and I think she hired a personal trainer to help her along the way. She also eats really healthy, and it seems she has an active lifestyle by going for a daily walk. It feels weird I know all of this just by her posts on social media, but I’m pretty sure that’s how she did it! Pure dedication! 💪🏼

The SIGG bottles are great for some uses (going camping once in a while) but if the inner coating is damaged (if you drop it once it can get tiny splits etc. ) you water/ drink can get to the aluminum and you drink it. Aluminum in use with food (eg. aluminum foil) has been linked in studies to Alzheimers dease. But do your own reseach and decide! Love the pink hat :)
When people lacked coffee during WWII in Belgium, they used to thin it out (whatever they had) with chicory, it was "cheap coffee". Funny how things come back, isn't it. ;)

The shaky camera is really annoying. Or is it just bad editing?
At 1080p, it was actually hurting my eyes and giving me a headache because it was like a rapid, subtle shake. I brought it down to 720p and that helped blur it out enough that it's watchable.

I love seeing your favorites and discovering new products, plus I keep watching to see if it's something I use and recognize. Personally, my favorites for October include my Burt's Bees Hand Salve and my Guess faux leather boots that I bought at least a year ago. I bought them at the beginning of summer, so they were marked down from $50 to %15; the buckle decor actually broke a couple weeks ago, so I hot glued it, since I didn't want to part with my favorite boots lol
Also I see u get so many hate comments. And I always think how sad that people feel the need to disagree or express any negativity towards u when u have achieved so much and for example I saw on Instagram people saying it's easy for u with a baby just going to parks etc. I was like what!!!!
U worked for years and years to build this life so u can live this way. Never listen to hate or negative comments it's part of life and shows ur achieving. Lots of love to u and family 😘

I personally hate the repeated use of my name when I'm talking to someone. I feels fake. I'm in front of you, and I know my name. Let's talk about whatever we're discussing. The name use seems to be an American thing, especially in sales. I know a salesman in Australia who uses this technique with customer service people. It was annoying. Luckily, he doesn't use it with his friends.

I completely agree with you about the struggle between non-leather shoes and leather shoes, with the environment issues and animal condition. And like you, I chose the vintage leather solution. And if you are careful with your shoes, bags, etc. you can keep them for a very long time!

Lovely video as always! Love the shoe and aloe vera tip! My highly recommended October favorite - if you cook a lot - which I imagine you do - the OXO Good Grips Smooth Edge Can Opener. It never touches the food, so it doesn't get dirty. The can can be "closed" again with the same can lid and there are no sharp edges. (Two cans in a row, hope that sentence made sense.) Love your videos - would love more frequent updates. Also love your "what I eat in a day" videos... since I am a foodie :)

I don't wear leather, for cruelty reasons, so I normally shop at spring (Canadian) or other shoe stores that have some non leather options. Loved this :) especially the productivity planner. And as a mom concealer is king !!. Most concealers are so drying thank you for the recommendation and your sis. That productivity planner is great ! I like the concept I'm the queen of procrastination island . Goals for Nov would def be to just enjoy being a mom look after my health and stress levels and spend more time on the floor playing with my son . Just allowing him to lead me in play . I learn so much about him and his own " style " rather than forcing my " style" of play etc on him . It's very interesting to record yourself playing with them and watch it back . We miss so much of their efforts to communicate with us when we take over the situation . As my son is on the autism spectrum I find this so interesting and it helps me to gauge my own responses . Where I need to pull back and let things just flow :))). Xx

The thing about a good pair of leather shoes is that they are very durable and last years and years and years, whereas synthetic leather does wear out more quickly and you have to keep buying new ones. You are so cute thanks for doing this video!

Hi Mimi! I am trying to go zero waste or at least to be as good as possible with recycling and re-using. What you say about vintage leather touches me personally because I love shopping in Vintage stores not only to save some money, but also because I would like to be more conscious about where things go after you are done using them. I desagree with you on one topic, real leather for me is the perfect solution (If I don't find vintage pieces) to avoid going through multiple shoes every year, I have had one pair of boots for like 6 years now and with the right care and different soles over time they look as good as new, plus a little aging on leather looks good. I know it isn't super environmental friendly but using them everyday sounds good to me to save shoes from going to landfields!
AAAAhhhh Mimi! Shoes are soooo a part of my struggle!!!! I've been wearing synthetic for a few years and always will going forward over real leather when it comes to new bought shoes because even though the synthetic is plastic I think saving animals comes first BUT vintage leather has been on my mind for clothing (jackets) and shoes too. In the mean time Matt and Nat has started making shoes too. I really trust their intentions as a brand.

Mimi, I’ve been vegan for 12 years and I also struggle with vegan boots because I feel they only last one year. I have been soul searching whether I could do 2nd hand leather shoes. Glad to see I’m not the only one with this problem. Poshmark app is my go to place for great 2nd hand items.

I highly recommend making your own aloe vera product. The plants are rather decorative and like so easy-going, they grow on their own in any pot in any house. My mother used tl have a whole plantation in a basement, so very little light and they grew like mad. Then everytime i would hurt myself as a child, she just cut the leaf and put it directly on my skin tl make the scar go away faster. She also would just put a cut leaf on her face. You can do anything so easily and actually, its so much more ecological and organic as it can be, thecost is next to nothing.

Aluminium water bottles- aluminium containers or cooking pots are not too good for the health as aluminium can leech into the liquid/food and is linked to Alzheimer's (aluminium in deodorant has also.been discovered to cause harm). I love Dale Carnegie! I prefer How to Stop Worrying and Start Living over How to Win Friends and Influence People, but read both like a hundred times. Incredibly inspiring and although written at the beginning of the 20th century it's just as relevant today. Possibly the best self help book I've ever read.

I started eating seaweed snacks because of your video and today I bought a bunch of pomegranates. I also started reading The subtle art of not giving a f... My favorites this month are Radius products. Not sure if they are sold outside US. I love their huge toothbrushes, the floss made out of silk, the toothpaste that has coconut oil, aloe, chamomile. It's organic and it works great.
