"Castlevania" is a renowned video game series developed and published by Konami. It made its debut in 1986 on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The series has grown to encompass various platforms and has become a staple in the action-adventure genre, particularly known for its gothic horror themes and side-scrolling gameplay. The story primarily revolves around the Belmont family, a clan of vampire hunters, and their eternal battle against Dracula.
Important Characters
Simon Belmont: One of the earliest and most iconic protagonists of the series, Simon Belmont is the main character of the original "Castlevania" game. Armed with the legendary Vampire Killer whip, he is a member of the Belmont clan tasked with defeating Dracula.
Trevor Belmont: The protagonist of "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse," Trevor Belmont is an ancestor of Simon. He leads a team of heroes, including Sypha Belnades, Grant Danasty, and Alucard, to defeat Dracula.
Alucard (Adrian Tepes): The son of Dracula and a human woman, Alucard is a dhampir (half-human, half-vampire) who opposes his father's evil plans. He is a central character in "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse" and "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night," the latter of which is one of the most beloved entries in the series.
Richter Belmont: Another key member of the Belmont clan, Richter is the protagonist of "Castlevania: Rondo of Blood" and also appears in "Symphony of the Night." He is known for his strength and determination in battling the forces of darkness.
Dracula (Vlad Tepes): The main antagonist of the series, Dracula is a powerful vampire lord who seeks to plunge the world into darkness. He is resurrected numerous times throughout the series, necessitating repeated confrontations with the Belmonts and their allies.
Sypha Belnades: A powerful sorceress and a companion of Trevor Belmont in "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse." She later becomes Trevor's wife and an ally to the Belmont clan.
Isaac and Hector: These characters are from "Castlevania: Curse of Darkness." Isaac is a devil forgemaster loyal to Dracula, while Hector is a former forgemaster who turns against Dracula.
The Castlevania series has also been adapted into an animated series on Netflix, which has introduced these characters to a broader audience, further cementing their place in popular culture.
umm . . .Dracula in Castlevania isn’t really Vlad III, the historical Dracula, but a genius tactician named Mathias Cronqvist, who was even nicknamed “Cronqvist the Wise” during the Crusades. His friend was Leon Belmont who was a Knights Templar/Crusader.
The name "Mathias Cronqvist" is likely a reference to Matthias Corvinus, King of Hungary from 1458 to 1490. Corvinus had Vlad III Drăculea as his vassal at times and even once as his prisoner. This connection to the historical Dracula may have influenced the way Koji Igarashi chose to name his antagonist.
Mathias Cronqvist assumed the role of Vlad III (Dracula) after the real Vlad III was defeated by Mehmed II, plus the Castlevania Dracula is loosely based off-of the eponymous character from Bram Stoker's 1897 novel, Dracula, more-so-than-not. I’d love to see a live action movie of Castlevania someday, you know. . .

I was concentrating on the original anime but one by one the characters kept adding up and some got skipped. I will make sure I get her in the next Castlevania video

Sure. First off, your work is very cool. I’ve since watched several of your other videos and subscribed to your channel.
At any rate, I’ve been using Midjourney and DALL-e for nearly 2 years, and am pretty proficient with both. However, I don’t believe that either can generate the types of images in your videos. So I’m assuming you’re probably using a locally installed version of Stable Diffusion with additional custom controls and models as opposed to something like DreamStudio or Leonardo.
I’ve been meaning to put SD on my PC laptop and/or MacBook Pro for a while but haven’t gotten around to it. But after seeing some of the work generated by you and a couple of others, I’m planning to do an install.
With that in mind I have a couple of questions.
1. could you provide some pointers as far as what i should install, models to download, and any good sites or FB groups to follow?
2. do you take commissions? I have some creature designs that were done for a graphic novel project that I’d like to have generated in your style, and possibly turned into a short creature & character animation for a website I’m working on.

@@mbrambram I start with dalle3, refine in krea or sd in no particular order. My emphasis is usually on character accuracy. I also use topaz photo and video ai when required. Inpaint in sd is very helpful for bringing out the details for faces. I use ms paint 🎨 to add remove details and then refine it further in inpaint. For SD you can try juggernaut models. I don't have a favourite as different models are trained on different stuff. Once you start working on SD you won't need my help 😅.
