Going back to their first albums, they are brutal. Not this brutal but, harsh and I cannot get enough of it. There is something about the beauty of the writing, the production, their drummer and the two guitarists who are both complete and total animals. Then their is Will. 5 foot 4 and full of all sorts of sounds and a truckload of talent. These 4, are immensely good at what they do. Incredible band that are bringing people into the genre that never would have ever tried to open their minds to it. Quite something.

The drummers name is Austin Archie, and he's absolutely one of the best out there still today...the screeching scream you reference to, Will calls it "Goblin Growling"
Thanks for giving the drummer some recognition! I just think that sometimes people focus only on the vocalist of a band, like the band would not exist without them. I find it a bit annoying. I may be biased, being a drummer myself, but I believe every band member deserves recognition, especially in a band like Lorna Shore. Thanks for recognizing it! Keep up the good work!

Definitely not the heaviest. Nitheful and Nylist are probably the heaviest bands right now… unless someone can recommend something even heavier. Gotta check out Nylist - ‘Suicidal’ & Nitheful - ‘Preputium Avarice’. In Gloom - ‘God the Animal’ as well. Three of the heaviest tracks this year so far, without a shadow of a doubt.

@@UnfilteredReactions Well that would be because the heaviest music tends to not be popular, so you have to check the underground bands to find it. Nitheful is definitely the heaviest though. I've listened to hundreds of slamming brutal death metal bands, dozens of Deathcore bands, many Goregrind and Pornogrind bands, etc. over years and years.
No worries though, all good. Nobody knows every band.
