Two months ago Harstem cast another Gumiho vs ShoWTimE game (ft. 26 gateways) here that he also called "Starcraft || Game of the Year"; in fact it had the EXACT same video title :) Seems like whenever these two guys play a series they can't help but produce instant classics!
Same balance ideas I've been saying for years: 1. There should be a researchable stalker upgrade that makes their attack hitscan instead of projectile (and maybe also reduces how long the attack animation takes before firing). That would have directly affected the ending of this game, making the micro interactions more interesting and in some cases less predictably one-sided, and thus less frustrating/boring to watch. 2. Sentries should have longer range - at least enough that they can comfortably sit behind stalkers and hit the same targets, at least while guardian shell is up. If they did, we'd probaby see more sentries in the army at the end of this game. (Honestly, we should seriously consider extreme range for the sentry as a late-game upgrade, I'm talking comparable to collosi/vikings/libs, so that the sentry can impose a tiny whittling down HP cost as Terran slowly advances its various interlocking step-any-closer-and-instantly-lose-units zones.)
9:46 honestly i love watching gumi bc he rarely get ghost, and when he does its not mass ghost. he also is heavily bio+tank in many, which is always fun to watch and obviously how terran was supposed to be played :P tons off marines, few marauders, lots off medivacs, good amount off tanks, and late game you can throw some ravens and battlecruisers in there ;D well, we rarely ever see none ghost and rare none mine play... ejjj T has so many lamely overbuffed units, who where supposed to be specialist but ended up being specialist that is good against most
4:17 ok what if here; 300min in bunkers, 75 in missile turret =375=175 none refundable; so what if you built 1 pylon+2 batteries; and keep trading nonestop with 6 stalkers at a time, go in kill something blink out; recharge shield while 6 other stalkers go forth, rinse and repeat? and if you are pushed hard from it you should do a decent amount off poke dmg while T kill off 600ish HP worth off buildings +shieldregen; just never see it, and thinking isnt that the play.. either that or go back early ^^
Protoss players: "Medivacs loading and unloading units before they can take damage is IMBA!!!!" Also Protoss players: "OMG prisim immortal micro good :D" clowns
Obviously Gumiho is starting his own Beating Grandmasters with Stupid Stuff series, and this is the first game with the 'build no ghost challange'

Hey Cap you should check out the Bo5 between Gumi and Astrea - I think that’s the most exciting TvP series I’ve seen this year

Most *frustrating* game of the year. Its crazy and nonsensical that medivacs can load units and heal more quickly than a stalker can fire lasers.
It's such a ridiculous advantage.
That level of micro is the same as loading blink stalkers into a warp prism to dodge tank shots.
