Mike was just at my church this past weekend for my churches CD release concert. He produced the project and did a great job leading one of the songs. I know some musician's have that "package deal"...being able to sing and play. I think it's an asset.
What's the big deal with mike singing ONE song??!! It's not like he is leaving the keys to pursue singing! It's only one song . Plus he brings his own style to it. And his voice is far from bad he still has a great voice. Keep doing your thing bro!

My first time hearing this wonderful choir perform this song but I am also shocked to hear I assumed supposed to be Christians display so much negativism toward another individual, which only shows these people r not walking in God's Love but in the darkness of the Devil. Christians don't throw stones at others, trying to hurt others but lend their brother a helping hand in trying to lift them up, not push r pull them further down, if they r down, of course you got to be up above the ground yourself before u can lift any one, u can start by looking into your own mirror and start praying to God to change your own heart to be a positive loving individual as commanded by God, which will show from the inside out for all mankind to see, as God desires.

No it wasn't enough time, you mention it at least 2 bars prior to give the musicians enough time to prepare. It gets on my nerves when worship leaders do it at the last second like you're a magician or something.

I too know how important it is to lead in Worship, and everyone must be on one accord in the Spirit. If The Holy Ghost shifts gears in the Spirit when we Lead, the Musicians AND Singers should be on point and also in tune enough to flow with us....

If you uncover the layer of my post, it comes down to just those two things. just because he's an anointed doesn't mean he's flawless. Im sure with a more simple style player he could probably sound better. Put a Karen Clark or a Kim Burrell up there and they would be right there with dude. Well.. actually.. mike is not a great singer. I honestly think it's hard for him to sing to someone else playing all kinds a moves like him... and as you can hear, he goes flat or sharp depending on what the guy on they keys plays... and he's just not a super strong singer... he just understands how to deliver and minister a song. I love the guy, he's dope though.

God's Word speak for it self, don't need us to interpret. In the end we all have to stand before a Holy God and give an account. Don't let your mouth and your judgmental attitude pushes people who truly needs God love out of a place where it could be what make the difference in the situations they are dealing with.
