@@baconbities yo that's really cool! The layout looks akin to Sonic Mania where parts are the same but overall the level is different.
Am I the only one that thinks this game doesn't look all that good? The cyberspace levels seem very linear, the mechanics seem a little glitchy (homing dash or hitting a dashpad the wrong way nearly kills you), and it seems sparse on enemies. The overworld is neat but lots of parts look like someone just pasted assets onto an overworld map, like someone just made it out of Halo's forge mode, and you just run from point A to point B. I'm seeing a lot of stuff being reused too.
Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations had fantastic level design and a ton of variety. I feel like we aren't getting that here at all. Maybe it's just people doing the sonic cycle again
Just wait for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Or even better, play Nier Automata.
Sonic is more interesting
How about you hype up those games in their respective videos elsewhere? 🤷🏻♀️
Bounce off things, draw a circle. This game looks so fun...
Welcome to platformers.
Who the heck are you a discord mod?
If thats your definition for a bad game, then osu! would be the most boring game in history
@@tigerfestivals5137 Sonic Adventure 2 and the original Spyro games were far more engaging.
@@bottomtext593 Never heard of it until now but it looks like a fun way to improve aim.
looks like it's gonna be a mid game tbh
Mid?! Bro, its like youve only played SA1 and 2 bro, this gon be at minimum a great game I feel.
You didn't even see 5% of the game yet
We’ve only seen the first 2 hours of the game. Chill out.
Sakurai likes it
@@stocker7639 good for him
I hate his animation after hitting a ring, I feel like he should pose or do a trick or something, instead he just falls. Looks unfinished tbh.
Bro your just finding simple reasons to hate the game for no reason
Why tf would he need to do a pose like how tf does that affect the game play
Yes
@@henjin4671 no excuse for no polish
I thought there was a trick system in this game? Perhaps they weren’t performing the tricks?
@@henjin4671 he does have a point though.
It may be """nitpicky""" to normal eyes, but for someone who genuinely loves and knows the character, it would make 100% sense for Sonic to perform a sort of trick going through a Special Ring.
Plus he was able to do that way back since the Adventure Era. A DREAMCAST GAME for crying out loud. So having him just perform a spin attack through a special rings SCREAMS cutting corners/lazy coding.
I love the direction the game is going with so far, don't get me wrong.
But it's details like these is what makes a lot people (including myself) come back to replay and appreciate the the devs for showing how much love they put into their game. It helps keep their games more immersive/fresh.
boss fight look super easy... smh and whoever is playing the game either sucks, or the mechanics in level are not good.... and he puts the emerald in his pocket... ok...lol
Is not easy
1. It's a mini-boss, technically. Not meant to be ultra challenging.
2. You've never played any other Sonic game with Chaos Emeralds, have you?
the physics on 3D sonic games always sucks, idk why, like in adventure 1 the spin-dash is broken and in adventure 2 the slopes is a literal rocket if you just use the spin-dash and the modern games uhhh, well the physics works for their level desing but not for a open world...
Every game doesn’t need to be open world
I didn’t want this game
Then sakurai said it was good so then I wanted it
Now I don’t want it anymore because the gameplay is not for me and it seems like it’s trying to be too edgy
what
Sakurai talked about a SEGA game..? 😱really..? Where did you see that??
@@gort7666 it’s not my cup of tea I’m more of a classic Sonic guy
@@michaelromeo9567 it was on their twitter but switchforce made a video about it to
@nauticaxo why
This game still feels unreal. I can’t believe Sonic Team actually made a game of such immense scope and quality. I’m so grateful to be a Sonic fan today 🥹
