- @cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm May is a difficult month to have flowers in bloom in the cut flower garden. Spring flowers are finishing and summer annuals have not started. What can you grow that is going to cover this gap?
By combining 3 growing steps I have been able to promote more blooms at this tricky time in the gardening calendar. My video this week shares these 3 steps with you and what I recommend for late May / early June flowers that will thrive in your garden or cutting patch.
I’m sure this my third or fourth time watching this and this time I screenshot the list for future reference 😊.Thank you so so much ❤
You’re very welcome, I am so glad you enjoyed it and hope you have been able to fill that May gap with some lovely flowers.
Very nice video 👌 thanks for sharing 👍🙏
Thanks very much for watching!
Wow, you give so much precious information!! Thanks you a lot. I finallly succes to germinate Larkspur in a bag in the fridge, and I got success with the cutting from my zinnia and snapdragon from my pinching!! So cool
Thats brilliant! I'm so pleased it worked for you!

hi great video , can you tell me when you sowed the biennials ?
I sow my biennial seeds in May and early June. Any later than that and they don’t get big enough plants for me before the winter.
Thank you for making such an educational video XXX
I hope it helps for flowers next year Dhrishta, thanks so much for the idea for the video xx
and do you keep them in the greenhouse during winter ?
I plant the biennials out in the garden mid August. Usually when the kids go back to school that is my reminder to get them planted out. That way they have a good few weeks before the first frosts to grow on in the garden and be strong enough to withstand the winter weather.
