It would be worth mentioning and relevant pointing out that NOT ANY CELL PHONE HAVE E-SIM CAPABILITIES. I downloaded the Numero app, tried activating e-SIM and the app told me that my device doesn't support e-SIM. The app shows a long list of Iphones and Android devices that do, just about of them high end, also a few tablets.
