Kai Hiwatari is one of the deuteragonists from the Original Series, consisting of Beyblade, Beyblade: V-Force and Beyblade: G-Revolution. He is the former leader of the Blade Sharks and current leader of the G Revolutions (english dub only). He is also a former member of the Blitzkrieg Boys. His Bit-Beast and Beyblade is Dranzer - one of the 4 Sacred Bit-Beasts.

Beyblade was the first anime i ever saw, and to this day to me Kai remains the coolest guy in all of anime.
To me, Kai is like the mascot of the beyblade franchise. He's so iconic

I can only say this, that, Original will always stay original and there can never be any character like Kai. He is very unique and very special. My most favourite person forever.
Tbh they tried it with kyoya in the metal series but they made him too edgy. Kai is a perfect balance.
Regardless that doesn’t make the metal series any less special than the original. Ryuga was a great character and the overall plot from Dark Nebula to Nemesis was pretty well written
@@Romayf11 I agree. I've seen many characters having personality like Kai but none of them can ever be like. He is literally absolutely balanced. His kindness, his arrogance, his spirit, his weakness, his passion, his love, his love-hate relationship with beyblade, his wanting to be no.1, his true feelings, his everything (If I could I could've written a book about him) is just perfectly balanced, which makes him really admirable ☺️☺️.
@@yousufkhan-jy5lp I can't really tell anything about that as I haven't watched it but, it is the truth that each series has its own flavour, for you metal series might be a bit more appealing but to me the original series and Kai has already taken the no.1 spot in my heart. I've watched more than 500 anime series but I have never found any anime that made me feel that rush inside of me that I felt when was watching beyblade (I literally ran to my house from my school everyday to not miss a single scene), and as I have said multiple times I've never seen any character even close to how much appealing Kai was to me (I still remember the very first time I saw him, with that sunset background and that powerful aura around him, I was Jaw dropped and didn't know what to say, all I could think was, "this guy is perfect" 😁😁.

Kai was the reason I watched Beyblade! His speech in his battle with Brooklyn is absolutely awesome & timeless!! I'm 28 and I still remember everything like yesterday! 2003-07; Damn! Good times.

Kai vs Brooklyn is like the reverse version of Joey vs Marik. The secondary protagonist actually wins against the final boss.

The very first anime hero of my childhood that I found sooo cool. Kai and Yami Yugi. Thanks to Anime, Japan and RTL2 my childhood was awesome :D
Here more differences between the Manga and Anime on Kai :
- The world Championship in the Manga on season 1, was interrupted by the Demolition Boys, and they have to go a battle with them
- In which Kai has the face against Bryan, the battle of the two birds, while in the anime he faces Spencer
- There is no "Tournament world championship" on the V-Force manga, and on the manga, the "physics" are like way more powerful while the "Saint shields" or whatever is called are weaker in the manga and they only fought Ray and Tyson.
- He also lost against Zeo on the V-Force manga but it wasn't in a tournament environment, it was cuz Kai have to battle him after Zeo beat Tyson
- In the manga Brooklyn does not exist, so we don't see that badass battle in the manga :(
- All the final part of "VEGA" does not exist in the manga and it's only anime exclusive
- However in the manga it is shown that Kai can go toe to toe with Tyson, and at the beginning of G Revolution, Tala by himself "DESTROYS" both Daichi and Tyson
- Also in the manga it shown on a better light how Kai joined the "Demolition Boys", he 1v1 the midget Pinocchio dude with the snake bit beast from that team, and destroyed his blade , and with that Kai took his spot
- The G Revolution manga ends when Kai and Tyson are disputing the grand finals but never revealed who won it on the epilogue
- However, there is a sequel to G revolution, and on that sequel Kai has a positive win record against Tyson.

Kai was always my favorite blader. I stopped watching beyblade after Daichi and Tyson won the tag team tournament and everyone changed them minutes afterwards. Those was the days

You do realise that people in that world people can build their own Blades? Most of team members build their own Blades from time to time offscreen.

Kai is and always be the best beyblade character, sure he was a massive ass early on but his character development was amazing and he honestly i would say much better than a lot of anime lone wolf characters. I forgot how much i loved this show. I mean i must have really loved it because i forgot how much i HATED V force. I thought i quit the series there but i remember watching it alll the way up to G -Revolution. I remember that battle on the ice, and how cool it was having Kai come back,?I remember that epic battle between him and Tyson, lol damn i may have to just go watch it again.
Grew up a huge Tyson fan but as an Adult I find Kai to be more badass But Tyson and Dragoon are still my favorite

wow my childhood has been creeping back up on me this year. I was looking up scenes from a series called 'Lexx' which had a starring character named 'Kai' in it and somehow ended up here watching videos about my fave character Kai from freaking beyblade when I was like.... 9? 10? idk, alls i remember is I had like 5 tops and 2-3 of those cheap plastic arenas and afterschool games were the BEST.

Great video! I was a big fan of Kai when I was kid, and use to have some of his dranzer blades. After watching this, I would love to see him make a comeback in a future series.
