Yes, grass always looks greener the other side, and in this case the fishing holes look better the other side, good time Randy👍

Great video! So down here in North Carolina, we called those bream. It's funny how the same type of fish have so many different names. I need to get out and catch some. I'm doing some catfishing next weekend, so I need some for bait. Might cook a few too tho.

@@adventureswithken1983 it really is weird how things are called different names that different places and everybody thinks the their name is the right one 😂 I haven't catfished in a million years, I need to do that.,

Awesome catch and cook! We have Perch in our area and they are underrated. Very yummy but nice if you can get ones that can be filleted because like you said, they are bony. Beautiful spot, river and trees, can't get much better than that! I love trees, must have been one in another life! hahahahaha! Sure glad that grasshopper didn't get the better of you. lol I am so glad that we don't have poisonous critters but I guess when you grow up with them you get used to it. Cast iron is great! I hear though if you take them off the fire in the winter and place them on the snow, they will crack. I have never tried it, just read it. Thanks for sharing your adventure. :) :) P.S. Interesting tattoo on your leg. Is it a band of trees around your whole ankle?

@@jacqueline7118 thank you so much for watching and commenting! I have one tree on my leg and a black band around my ankle.. the goal is to have trees all the way around eventually.. I love perch, they taste very clean.. even small and whole like that i enjoy them.. I've never heard that about cast iron but it makes total sense..! Thank you again for watching!
