  • In March of 1975 Leonard Nimoy was interviewed by KMRH morning radio show host Art Young. Nimoy was in Austin performing in the Mary Moody Northen Theater's production of Albert Camus' "Caligula" (March 11 - 23, 1975). I have a couple of his books. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to meet Mr. Nimoy. Thank you, I really enjoyed this interview,

I listened to a Delta Flyer’s Podcast interview with actor Tim Russ who later went on to play a Vulcan in Star Trek Voyager. Tim Russ mentioned that he worked with Leonard Nimoy on the play Caligula while in Texas at the University.

I was unaware that Leonard Nimoy wrote his own poetry until Leonard plugged it at the end of the interview.

What a very erudite actor. You know Truman Capote famously said actors were dumb. Leonard clearly is not.

Goes to show you what Truman Capote knew. I always looked at actors as very intelligent people. Look at what they do, they have to remember all their lines in the scripts. They must be able to take direction. When they do plays in front of a live audiences, they can't be dumb. Leonard Nimoy did a one man show which he wrote, produced, and acted called "Vincent". It is on You tube if you want to watch it. Make sure it's the one with Leonard doing the acting. LLAP
