The original members are not always the best. Ollie Woodson sang every other member (past and present) out of the auditorium. Ollie joined in 1984. Sadly, he passed in 2010.

I was on my first date in 1977 at the Odessy disco night club in Brooklyn, Ny (the same club John Travolta dance to Saturday Night Fever) ..They always booked many popular young groups and singers.. The Temptations, Gloria Gaynor (I Will Survive), The Tramps (Disco Inferno)! No lines.. just walk right in . Grab a table, dance and /or watch the shows! Those were the days!!

Wow, it's so hard to believe that all of the original members and Dennis are gone. That time back in the 60's when all that musical magic happening was a time that's stamped in history 4 ever; a time of marching for civil rights, the Vietnam War etc. And the music of MOTOWN played a very big part in that era.
