Hey thanks for the video. My ocd helped me bump into a way to keep sequence numbers whole. In the sequence tracking sheet you can offset by as many numbers as you want. You just have to select the numbers (first row, not the name) then right click to open the "edit cue numbers" sub menu and where it says "new number" just change the number to where you would like it to start.
Nice trick - thanks! The manual used to say that that does not re-order the cues, that’s why I was going with this approach. Might be different now though - thanks for sharing though! :)
Hi! Whenever i enter the "move" command, nothing ends up happening and the cue order remains the same. i made sure i write the full executor command and numbers correctly as shown in the video but nothing happens after i press "PLEASE" in the end. Anyone has an idea what might be causing this? Thanks!
Try hitting escape to get out of the update view, and you can select an empty executor if you want, but mostly one of them is always selected - that’s the case when I work at least :)
My thoughts as well. ACT has an article on the different methods for copying cues and how they work with tracking, I was hoping this video was going to cover them.
I always found it annoying :) So that's why the video is sort of biased against using tracking. Could have done a more balanced job there I think... thanks for giving me your perspective on tracking!
Hey there! So there's multiple options here. Moving lights in general have a physical movement speed which is also simulated in GrandMA3D - so if you have a very slow moving light then there's nothing you can change about the slow speed. BUT in most cases you can a) Try to decrease the cue timing b) On an existing cue you can assign a Rate Master to try and speed it up and c) Check whether the moving light has an attribute which dictates the movement speed! Good luck :)

Hi jonas wanted to know how to deselect a cue after I am finished editing it. Would I have to always have a sequence selected?

Hello! How can you delete the color green on executor number 208? Thank you.
how can you copy a cue from a fixture to another?(same kind of fixture)
Tracking is an incredibly useful feature. You just need to be hyperaware of how you're recording and updating cues.

Damnit....wasn't aware of that article and actually didn't do a good job then since I did not cover tracking.
Got a link for me?
