When your windscreen wipers struggle with dew, sleet, or pouring rain - they are easily replaced with top quality Tridon wiper blades and refills.
A visual inspection is the best way to determine whether it’s the blade assembly, or just the rubber which needs replacing. Look closely at the rubber for cracks, sun damage, missing sections, or flattening of the rubbers edge. If your wiper isn’t clearing all of the water off the glass; it probably needs replacing. As for the blade assembly, inspect this for rust, damaged blade claws, or excessive play - especially around the plastic bushes. If your rubbers appear to be fine, but you’re still getting an uneven or noisy wipe - you’ll want to replace the rubber AND the blade.
Now, choosing the correct Tridon wiper refill or blade is easier than you may think! Online, the ‘My Garage’ feature will help you on the Supercheap Auto website. Just select your vehicle, choose the wiper category; and every option available for your car will be displayed.
Alternatively, you can remove your old wiper blade or refill and measure it; then take it into a Supercheap Auto store. Tridon metal rail, or plastic back wiper refills are designed to be cut to length. So long as you match the width on the back of the refills - and your original isn’t longer than the replacement - Tridon refills will suit most wiper blades.
Ensure that the refill locates properly into the blade claws all the way along - and that the metal clip or rubber tab locks into the final blade claw at the end. Then cut the refill to length about 25mm past the final blade claw.
If you’re replacing a standard blade assembly, installing a Tridon Curveblade, or Tridon Flexblade; you need to match the lengths. Right and left hand wipers will often be different lengths - so find the matching size for each. This is stated in the Tridon part number. For instance, a TFB20H is a 20" Tridon Flex Blade with a hook fitting. The fitting type is important too; so make sure the fitting on your new and old blades match.
Standard Tridon blade assemblies come with a handful of adaptors to suit a massive range of vehicles. Simply match the adaptor to the original blade, clip it onto the new one - and reinstall the blade on the wiper arm. Most standard and curve blades lock onto the wiper arm in a similar manner. Just look around the metal hook for a tab or button, depress this - and the blade should slide away from the arm.
Flex blades are a little different; with top lock, side lock, pinch tab, push button, or hook fittings attaching the wiper to the vehicle. These are easily identifiable when compared to the old wiper, but searching the correct part number for your vehicle will guarantee the correct Flexblade for you.
Get on top of your wiper performance before the poor weather strikes, and install a new set of Tridon wipers.

So what happens at 1:02? How do you release the end to slide out?

2:10 "make sure the fitting on your new and old blades match". Those fittings look nothing alike.
