Idk about the stamina part when you talked about kid being stronger and able to fire many more damned punks I think it's just cause they weren't so tired out from the long drawn out battles that he was able to use more damned punks in the same way Zoro could use king of hell longer if he wasn't so badly injured before
King was blocking attacks because he’d been wounded. It’s like if you had a cut, even a small bump hurts, when normally it wouldn’t. There’s also the chance he could deepen the wound further if he hits the same spot. I doubt King’s insides are also durable.
But kol, you say zoro's affinity is armament and not conquerors that's why it is taxing. When the taxing part is actually on his armament not conquerors. Enma takes a lot of armament haki and that's why he instead of letting it take his haki, he instead gives his haki himself and applied conquerors too. So in the near future he not only needs to master and understand conquerors haki but also increase his output on armament haki. Luffy's gear fourth takes a lot of armament haki too. So will that part ever change for both of them? Not sure. But I'm positive that Zoro will learn to use conquerors coating and use it outside of king of hell.
When it comes to king of hell, I want him to master it purely because I don't want it to be a factor when he fights mihawk. What's the point of being the strongest swordsman or beating the strongest swordsman when you can't even fight without any restraint like oden did. So we will definitely come to a point where Zoro doesn't have to worry about haki problem with enma. He wants to BE king of hell, so does that mean he doesn't have to go into that state to use that kind of power in the future? I think that's possible.
For Zoro to master his king of hell state he needs to increase his maximum haki capacity(have more haki blooms) and master the wills of his swords and its possible that the wado ichimonji,sandai kitetsu and enma all have similar wills and are testing zoros killing intent,and zoro has to fight to death not fearing it to subconsciously tap into his conquerers haki. I think shusui already accepted zoro since zombie ryuma gave zoro his blessings with shusui so zoro doesnt have to use shusui as much now

Kidd’s ability to fire consecutive Damned Punk’s at Elbaf is less about any potential increase in strength than it is that he wasn’t hours deep into an all out war where he’d been pushing himself long before using the attack itself. He was just operating on a full tank of gas.

Well, what if, just like luffy revamped his attacks once he learned Haki, without going into Gear 4th (so in Zoro's case King of Hell), Zoro did the same ?
And not just the named techniques evolving and getting different names, but also the basic attacks ?
That way he could both get accustomed to using his conquerors' Haki in small or prolonged burst and make it more natural for himself, just like Luffy prior to his Gear 5 awakening
TLDR ; if Luffy is a mini Kaido (zoan user with top shelf Haki potency and proficiency), then how about Zoro being a mini Shanks ? (Abnormaly strong regular human, swordsman, with top shelf Haki potency and mastery, cuz that's all they have)

Law flexed his haki to negate a df effect, law also couldn't affect big mom with his room, so I would expect having a certain level of conq haki pretty much negates all df effects that get applied to you, that's why kaido basically said haki>df
I wouldn't say that because devil fruits are so varied and wacky. Law couldn't move Big Mom in his room but Kid could assign magnetism to her. Law could also puncture her with kroom later and Luffy could make Kaidos body act like rubber on contact.
I think it massively depends on the devil fruit and the haki of both combatants

Probably the power growth of many characters is less dependent on their age but rather how good they are with a certain ability already. It only makes sense for Kid who only recently got his ability to make faster progress with it than somebody who already had it for ten years. There is only so much u can do after all.

@@jamesfoxsmithThe gears aren't prerequisites to eachother. They all work in completely different and have positives and negatives. We've also seen Luffy combine gears multiple times with gear 2+3. Combining gear 3+4 is as simple as blowing into his muscle and bone instead of just one.

What do you think Shanks was using back in the day when he clashed with Mihawk?... A SWORD. Even kid Shanks used a sword back when he was on Roger's crew, and we still see Shanks using a sword even as an adult. He clashed with Whitebeard using a sword, stopped Akainu's attack using a sword, and he used divine departure(a sword attack) to one shot Kid and Killer. Shanks is 100% a swordsman, everyone knows this.
Saint Garland is still considered a swordsman regardless of how many people in the outside world know of him. He's the leader of the God Knights and King of God Valley. His sword skills are not to be underestimated!
Although God Ryuma and Rogers are dead, and Rayleigh is old, they're still huge obstacles Zoro has to surpass in order to become the world's strongest swordsman. Only two people in the entire verse have a permanent black blade, God Ryuma, who was considered a GOD, and Mihawk, who is the strongest swordsman. That just goes to show how extremely rare having a black blade sword is. It's rarer than conqueror's haki users.

Where did Zoro even get the idea of being the greatest swordsman in the world when you could literally count great "living" swordsmen on one hand. In Wano he didn't even bat an eye because the country had mostly fodder swords people. Pirate King I get, there are many legendary pirates so it's special. Greatest swordsman seems cheap in comparison

What if just like how tien powers split with each clone in DB. Zoro can split his advance haki to each sword in ashura that way limiting the toll on him, but due to his skills to use those 9 swords he can still attack at full power

No! It wasn't enma haki that overpowered and scared Kaido it was Zoro's own haki, strength and technique that did that!
I think it was very much on purpose by Oda to give both Sanji and Zoro a big buff to their defense. Both of them but especially Zoro were already know for their endurance but compared to Luffy they very much lacked durability which makes both of them very well rounded fighters now with Sanji focusing on speed while Zoro is the ap guy. As much as they and their fans hate each other i would rly like seeing them having to team up in a serious fight. They would be so good together.
If characters could fuse like in Dragon Ball the two of them together would be deadly.
I think transforming gear 5 goes against its concept of it bejng the peak and freest form of luffy. Transformation usually entail a drawback or a restriction

Zoro's strongest forms are burnout forms, he pools his attack power (haki) into finishing attacks that multiply his physical power (Ashura) and increase the cutting power (conqueror haki coating) of his blade. The problem is Zoro is overusing haki and this is why people think Ashura is an attack because it doesn't last long, Zoro is using so much haki he can't even last as long as gear 4th Luffy which has a time limit of 10 minutes. With all that said, King of hell Ashura Zoro is high admiral level capable of critically damaging yonkos and even out performing them in clashes. Zoro just needs to increase his usage of conqueror's haki and buff his base to about King of hell minimum to able to compete with admirals and Yonkos, without King of hell Zoro just doesn't scale to these big players yet. King of hell Ashura Zoro will surpass Shanks and Mihawk because of his unique 3 sword style, im not even a Zoro fan boy but Zoro will be way more impressive than Shanks and Mihawk once he refines his base power.

The reason zoro cant use this combination is because he does not have enough haki to coat all 9 swords. People forget that zoros COC was not ready to be used yet but enma forcefully draws that power out at a premature time which is why zoro could use ACOC when he never used the basic aplication of this haki in the first place. This is also why zoro has stamina problems when yamato luffy garp and all the others do not.

I don't think a combination between Gear 4 and Gear 5 is necessary. The reason Luffy had to coat his body in Armament-Haki was so he could contain the air in his muscles and maintain the form. If he runs out of Haki reserves, he can no longer use Gear 4. Gear 5 has completely overcome this weakness as he can easily increase his muscle size without pumping air into it. However, it is not unlikely that Luffy will use attacks from Gear 4 in Gear 5. After all, the Bajrang Gun was nothing more than a larger King Kong Gun. But I guess Luffy will switch between Gear 4 and Gear 5 for the most part. When his Haki runs out he can use his Devilfruit Awakening until his Haki returns, then he can fight in Gear 4 until his heartbeat starts beating like drums again.

asura already has conquerors haki infusion. why else would kaido comment on it immediately after zoro used it. I think there is some difference between consciously and unconsciously using advanced conquerors, would definitely explain the colors being off
When Luffy first learns how to use conquerors infusion, Kaido says that only the strongest can use it, not a deadman walking (referring to luffy)
Why would Kaido refuse to believe that luffy could use it if Zoro had literally just used it on him seconds prior? Kaido was referring to Asura when he mentions Zoro's conquerors haki.

Tbh i dont think zoro can die specifically, for what i think is pride. Zoro already stated in the beginning what his goal is and who he wants to beat. Zoro will not go down and will surpass his goal.

The problem with this video is that the King of Hell is not a confirmed state, it's just a thing Zoro said. His Asura Dead Man's Gambit attack already had Conqueror's Haki, so I don't see how his next Dead Man's Gambit attack would be exponentially stronger outside of him improving his Conqueror's haki control. King of Hell is not a confirmed cannon power-up, it was just Zoro hyping himself up to risk it all and give Enma all the Haki he could instead of holding himself back out of fear of dying.

Technically his king of hell form might not be 100% what could’ve “killed” him. Reminder he took a 30 minute drug, at the time he made that statement he had 5-10 minutes left, heavily injured, and pouring a lot of haki out, yea it makes sense that he could’ve died at that moment. But without the other factors he might’ve not even had a time limit to begin with. There’s no way luffy and kaido did all what they did using ACoC but y’all think zoro can only use it for 5 minutes before dying😂. That doesn’t even sound right, luffy can use his for over an hour, but zoro… 5 minutes😂
How do you get greater haki,? 1.facing other great users ( Kido/big mom combo attack) (King the wildfires sentient defense/conquers haki attacks) including knocking on deaths doors speaking with death himself.
