Black LED Acrylic Distance Test

In an earlier video I shared using black LED acrylic, a commenter (Genna) asked why my example is more diffuse than Adafruit's. I said "well, my LEDs are further away. They followed up and asked could I record a video to show them against the acrylic. So here it is, Genna!

I embarked I bought a shiny black acrylic and the light of the leDs were not visible

Sounds like you didn't use the correct type of acrylic. I included the link to what I used in the description. If prefer to source your own acrylic, do a google search for "black LED acrylic". That should sort you out.
