You can kind of envision now the Switch 2 holiday 2025 lineup... just like this year we are getting Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom in September, Super Mario Party: Jamboree in October, and Mario & Luigi: Brothership in November... Switch 2 could see say... Mario Kart 9 in September, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond in October, and Pokemon Legends ZA in November... imagine?
Wouldn’t Metroid Prime 4 be a cross platform launch title for the Switch 2, and therefore be released first?
Pokémon Legends Z-A is very likely Switch 1. Pokémon does late releases each generation.

This direct was absolutely packed, even from the viewpoint of this being the last Switch 1 direct. Prime 4 is definitely cross gen, the game is pushing the switch to its absolute limit

You skipped over Fantasian finally being free from its Apple Arcade hell. Jrpg crowd has wanted to play that game pretty badly for years now.
I usually find HD-2D ugly, but the DQ games look great here. Likely because they’re not afraid to have colour, lol. The other ones are usually yellow/brown.

@@therealjaystone2344 Yeah agreed. I also think Prime 2/3 are being saved for closer to Prime 4’s release. I mean you have to explain to newcomers how phazon ceased to exist between 1-4 and how Sylux followed Samus
@@PixelPikmin does that mean they might remake Hunters too since Sylux was first introduced in that game?
@@PixelPikminBackstory or explanations for Sylux’s appearance are guaranteed, even without the Prime 3 cutscene since Sylux is the main antagonist. We got so little information about him across multiple games that it would be weird if they didn’t explain Sylux’s appearance within Prime 4 itself.

Good reaction! I seen some say they think this is the last Nintendo Switch 1 foucsed direct personally I dont think so I think there will be atleast 1 more Nintendo Switch 1 focused direct in September 2024. I know Nintendo Switch 2 is coming 2025 but Nintendo Switch 1 is not over yet.
The September direct probably gonna be a mini one with only one switch 2 title to be announced (a 3d Mario title)
