- Introducing the 4 colour granny squares that will give you plaid or gingham looking afghans. Each square is made up of 4 different colours and the colours change in the corners.
2 Colour Granny Square AfghanThis is very similar to the Half’n Half Granny Square Afghan by Yarnspirations. I realized that if it’s so easy to change colours for squares that are half colours, how hard could it be to do 4 colours in one square. Turns out, there’s really no difference in difficulty. There’s 4 strands of yarn to use instead of 2 but the process is still just as easy.

Just when I needed a tutorial for doing this kind of granny square and I couldn't figure out how to make the corners to look so neat. Also, it opens so many incredible possibilities to make different patterns.
Hi from Capetown. I have learned a lot and how to read patterns watching your channel. 28 yr old son ordered a peppermint throw. Yet to attempt pattern trial. Nagged so told him to get crotcheting. He backed down. TX for awesome channel. Keep up good work
Thank you for making this easy for me , have a great day
Wow, love the 4 color granny square. I like working with a lot of different color yarn. Thanks for showing us how to do it. You Rock.

I love to crochet. I love to make traditional quilts. Can you imagine how excited I am to crochet a blanket using these traditional half-square blocks and quarter-square blocks!?!?! YAY!! Thank you sooooo much for these great videos!
I love this Mikey because, you can make quilting color schemes in crochet. I would love to see quilt style crochet square tutorials

This is amazing. I can do this as my grandbabies blanket. Love it.

Thanks for, vid will try
Thank Thank THank soooooooooooooo Thank you sooooooooo much
Great ideas from this! Can this be made for the tumbling blocks pattern? Thanks
I think it would be more cohesive when you switch colors to drop the first color entirely, grab the new color, slip stitch, chain 3 to count as a dc, attach to the old color, then continue as normal
Hi, I was wondering if there's a left-handed version of this? I'm not finding one, but I'm hoping I'm just overlooking it. Thank you so much.
Sorry. I never did the work in video fir left.
i love this so much!
Can you show us how to do with six colors...
F.Y.I. - After 40 years of crocheting, I have found that picking up only one strand/loop of yarn, when finishing a round, or switching colors, is not very sturdy of a connection as that singular strand will be under more stress and stretch out. Whereas when instead TWO strands/loops are picked up, this issue does NOT arise, and the blanket, or whatever, will not need to be repaired for said problem later. 😊
Love it
Where can I get the printed pattern for this? Please
Hemoso
where do I get the written instructions for this pattern? thanks
