Thanks it's a really good explanation, and good idea to look at the engine so I can buy the one that fits. There are two engines that are not the same.

Where did you buy your part? Also, when I try to turn on my convection fan, it just "buzzes." I assume it's still "calling." Should I try to replace the fan motor like you did or maybe just the capacitor? Or is that all one piece? I don't know much about motors...
