Please, please don't ever, ever change your theme music. When I hear it, it's like something old and familiar and comforting !!!! Especially with all that is going on, all the changes, and all that is coming. Even your voice is addictive. Love your videos. Actually if I remember correctly you and Less Junk were my two first You Tube followings. Your like old friends !!!! Stay safe and as Roy would say, Happy Trails To You !!!

I was born and raised in upper Michigan! I have crossed the big Mack millions of time..if you cross US2 to M 117 then north to M 28 you will go through the big town of Engadine! M 28 to the west will take you toward copper country!

Three friends and me crossed that bridge coming south on motorcycles.. Early morning, raining and wind blowing. Had to drive on the grated side because the paved side was closed.I truly enjoyed the riding to and from Copper Harbor but crossing the bridge in the wind and rain on a motorcycle will get your attention FAST.

We continued all the way to Duluth, MN and drove scenic Hwy 61 along the northern Shore of Lake Superior to Split Rock Lighthouse State Park...what a beautiful spot with the lighthouse WAY above the Lake...maybe just maybe you will check it out when you get to Duluth. Trucks are allowed to carry up to 164.000lbs in Michigan. They spread that weight across all those axles. No other state allows that much weight. Federal roads are limited to around 80,000lbs

@@smileyzr2 They cannot "carry" that much weight. Those are maximum gross weights, of the truck+trailer+cargo. I am familiar with the steel hauling 8 axle truck trailers in Mich. They can haul about 100,000 lbs of cargo. That is a 8 axle trailer that he passes at the 4:49 mark. I don't know what he would be hauling in that van type of trailer, but its not a steel hauler.

Michigan has more shoreline than any other state in the union except Alaska. They used to have the most boat registrations in the country too. Don't know if that is still true. And you were right about the area of the state. I had roommate in college (Alma) that lived in the western UP and it took him longer to get home than it did for some fellow students that lived in New York state. It takes longer to drive from one end of the state (Western UP to near Toledo on the boarder) than it takes to drive across the longest part of Texas. Just some fun facts to know--at least I think they're facts....

I cannot believe how many axles were on that truck you passed on the downward side of the bridge. I counted 11.... Our one toll road in Colorado charges per axle :-) yikes.

They will charged that rig $4 per axle to cross bridge, same price no matter the vehicle just charge per axle
