found your channel from this video! Your bookshelves look so nice and it's awesome you built them yourself! The whole background is so cozy with the Christmas tree 🎄 looking forward to more of your videos!
Your shelves and decor are so cozy!! Looking at all your books, already gives me the comfort that I love your book taste! Can’t wait for the shelf tour ☺️
Hi, Kat! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us. From an oldie content creator to a newbie, welcome aboard. We're so glad to have you here!
Welcome back and Happy Holidays Kat!! Sorry to hear about your roller coaster of a year and health issues with your daughter. Hopefully 2025 will bring peace and happiness and good health to you and the kids. Love what you’ve done with your library, it looks nice and festive for the holidays. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you again.
Welcome back to Booktube! Yeah Booktube has changed a lot through the year. I started creating content in 2014 and stumbled into Booktube in late-2014/early-2015. Tags used to be HUGE! Now people seem to like vlogs the most. I was talking with someone about vlogs and I would prefer to make what I am making, since vlogs require far more effort. I am sorry that you are going through a rough time. Hopefully Booktube will give you a bit more of an escape from the challenges that are taking place in your life. Fantasy is very popular in the Booktube community, though I am not the hugest fantasy reader. I was gifted with Eragon back in 2011, but have yet to read it. Perhaps that will change. I read and really enjoyed The Millennium Trilogy, especially The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl That Played with Fire, but I have not read any of the books that were not written by Stieg Larsson. I know he wanted to write 10 books, but I would want something that was loyal to him and the direction he wanted to take with this franchise. It is interesting how Sarah J. Maas and fans of A Court of Thorns and Roses have developed acronyms attached to her and her writing with "SJM" and "ACOTAR." I will be interested to hear about the Scandinavian literature that you read and choose to talk about. I like to use the term "Nordic," for it covers more ground. I feel that Finland, Iceland, and Greenland can appropriately be classified in discussion along with Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Thank you for sharing and I am looking forward to seeing what you have in store! -Josh
This was so lovely to watch - so excited to see you blossom and grow! Ps: as everyone has mentioned, stunning library 🥰✨
