- The plaintiff, a landlord and pastor, claims the defendant owes him several months of rent, so he’s suing. The defendant says he knew the plaintiff wasn’t good news when he noticed a snake in his church. The defendant admits he owes some rent money, but he argues the plaintiff is suing for more than he owes.
Sometimes JM be coming across like a bully. You gotta have tough skin to deal with his "humor"

I wish the Plantiff would have had someone else with him to assist with communication. He was very articulate but seemed to struggle with getting his point across. I think he was very sincere. The defendant, in my opinion, was hostile.

I agree with you! It has increased here lately. And, as someone who grew up in church, I know there are imperfect people in every sector.. But, to pigeonhole everyone as "crooked" is not fair to those who are working in truth as much as possible. I don't see this same handling to those of other faith.

Just because you're of the Lord don't mean you have to be a fool in Christ as a pastor you still have to work. He's a pastor with rental properties that's his business pay the man. Everybody expects the church to do stuff for free and survive off them few dollars on sundays.

Well see my frustration is they criticize the pastors that get paid by their congregations and still criticize the pastors that have streams of income outside of ministry. Clearly the man set up his affairs they he could retire and have money coming in. That’s wisdom!

I have mentioned this several times on his cases via UA-cam. It seems that there has been an increase in him being harder or meaner to those who profess to be Christians and/or ministers in the Christian faith. And I don't understand why now. In contrast to the past.

Emergency doesn't mean broke🤦🏾♀️. There have been cases where the Judge even said things were emergencies and people needed to move that had nothing to do with their finances. Judge Mathis was just being rude and short with this man for no reason 🤦🏾♀️.
Melvin works at the postal company and at some point became a truck driver, utilized rental assistance & still fell behind on rent ... that tells me everything I need to know about him 🤷🏿♀️
The Pastor doesn't qualify as a "snake" in the proverbial way, I think he is well-intended. Perhaps hire a property manager to handle your properties, Pastor! And Melvin, all that you said in the end is to shame this kind man. Pastors are not here to be taken advantage of Sir, and he's not obligated to HELP you with anything! If anything you are obligated to give him some RESPECT!

Just because someone is a pastor doesn’t mean they can be a doormat and give away everything for free. SMH. There is not much money in the ministry at all. People go broke and without being a pastor. Trust me. My husband and I were in the ministry. We bought groceries for people and we didn’t have much for ourselves at times.
