I had the great, great grandson (and his wife) of the man who built my house come and visit me today, these scones went downs well (with clotted cream of course!)
Fluffy Scones ❤ 400g Self Rising Flour 50g of cold butter cubed 30g caster sugar 1 egg 125ml cream 125ml full fat milk Add in the flour, butter and sugar. 🔄 5 seconds speed 4 Add in the remaining wet ingredients (egg, cream and milk). 🔄Dough function for 20 seconds. Place on mat and roll out to 4cm thickness. Use 6cm round cutter and cut out (straight down and straight up). Brush with milk, egg or yolk. Bake at 200 C for 10-15 minutes.
