@@Idontevenknowman779 yeah I think I’m going to stop here. The changes they made for final shape seems like they ruined the game even more and it’s all too expensive paying $100 for the season passes and the dlc
First of all, yes, they did cut content from the main game to make it into dlc later because they had to restart development of the story 10 months before the final game would be released. Secondly, the reason that sunsetting is a problem is because Bungie would create a problem in the game just to "fix" it for themselves but not for most players. Thirdly, you yourself are here complaining about Bungie's bad decisions and practices. You are the baby that you are talking about. The current players want Bungie to stop making these bad decisions that you yourself are complaining about. You are a hypocrite. This video is very bad faith and unresearched. Bungie should be criticized for their terrible business practices and bad development choices. The players are not the problem even if the vocal minority online are acting poorly.
You missed the point of the video, or you're acting in bad faith with this comment. Especially considering that I myself admit to being part of the community and being someone who complains about the game constantly. You're not catching me in a gotcha moment with this. I admitted it. The point of the video is to say that feedback or not, Bungie is a large development company, and should have strong decision making rather than relying on a bunch of gamers who have no idea how to develop, to make their decisions for them. and you're just spreading unconfirmed rumors by claiming that the dark below and the house of wolves were complete and ready to ship before the game was published. If the content was cut, then it was cut for a reason, and wasn't a finished product. You're acting like that's not a standard practice for the industry. And I don't even know what you're trying to say with the sunsetting part. Try wording it better
@@jesterofjuice5132 If you think that cutting content is a good standard practice then you and people like you are the reason why we get bad games and bad business practices. Feedback is important for games that release in an unfinished state. Bungie chose to make the games live service. And when your players can use a sparrow glitch to gain access to the areas that you blocked off for the next two dlc's, yes I will say it was cut content and not brand new content to the game. It was already there when the game released and they time gated and paywalled it. The reef was new. Trials was a new game mode. Everything else was old, previously inaccessible areas that already existed in the game. I didn't try to gotcha, I'm just explaining that your point is hypocrisy and bad faith. Bungie catering to the lowest common denominator is for money, because it's a business. The developers still making good content is a testament to how great the development staff is. The players didn't kill the game. The game is still alive and it's in a better state than it's been in a very long time. You were wrong about the point of sunsetting because you tunnel-visioned on your annoyance with the vocal minority of the community. You were wrong about the game being dead. It's only dead for you.
@@jesterofjuice5132 If you don't actually understand how power creep works in a live service game, Ill explain it. Game released with base content and gear Raid releases with better gear Dlc releases with even better gear If new gear is better then why use old gear? Power creep If old gear is better than new gear then why use new gear? Stagnation If you choose to make a live service, it is your job to make new better gear in a looter shooter or your game will stagnate. So Bungie made the decision to instead create a system where they change the meta when they see the community over-using certain oppressive weapon types and exotics. Meta shifting how they want based on how they see the trends in game.
@@jesterofjuice5132 Do you now understand how it is a problem that Bungie created and then "fixed" it for themselves instead of for everybody? They control the meta weapons now using data feedback. Not crying content creators. But people still should criticize Bungie's business practices in order to get a better game. Without the community, there is no game and no Bungie. It is our right as consumers to voice our frustrations with the systems that we dwell within.

hes talkin about trash opinions. dude has the worst of opinions. probably keeps getting kicked out of clans. dude is toxic af. probly cant even keep a girl lmao
Its so weird because the title suggests a video about the community but its just like 50% baby talk (quite literally wtf is the obsession with babies and diapers) and balance of the game he didn't enjoy.
Absolutely disconnected "points" hes making. Don't think I've heard anyone quit destiny for bad gunplay. Its usually the opposite.
@@goose886 Gunplay is the only thing keeping the game going.
“Kicked out of a clan” and here we have the typical asinine destiny fan boy 😂😂 you must be 10 years old to type like that

nah you needa touch grass and move on from that boringass damn near 10 year old game with shitty freeroam maps that got invisible walls everywhere 🤦🏻♂️
The community is horrible, but Bungie dog pile on themselves too. Don't pretend.
Plus I mean, 70% of this video is you complaining about the game being badly designed and boring, not about the community. You just seem really salty the game is bad, and you probably had a nasty little run in with the D2 community.
Most people who play Destiny don’t even REALLY like it. They’re just addicted to it. I mean listen to how they talk about it. It’s almost like an integral part of their lives
I’m suffering from this addiction right now. I absolutely hate the game but I’m invested is the shitty story, that was good in D1. They also created a sense of FOMO for every even and season that makes me grind and grind for loot even though I hate the game
@@bigmanting1874 yeah that’s not too healthy bro. Work on getting rid of that, it could ruin your life
@@Idontevenknowman779 yeah I think I’m going to stop here. The changes they made for final shape seems like they ruined the game even more and it’s all too expensive paying $100 for the season passes and the dlc
I know why you "hate" the game...you need to switch to strafe jump. Get off that Jim ass triple jump.
damn da truth kinda hurt 😅
Game released with base content and gear
Raid releases with better gear
Dlc releases with even better gear
If new gear is better then why use old gear?
Power creep
If old gear is better than new gear then why use new gear?
Stagnation
If you choose to make a live service, it is your job to make new better gear in a looter shooter or your game will stagnate.
A hour telling us why he hates a game- sounds like the game hates him and he just needs to GET GOOD! Sad when a game doesn’t want u in return!🤣😂 go try Fortnite

I feel bad for all of my destiny friends because they are being nostalgia trip “ I gotta finish this” mind set into buying the final shape even though 5 months ago he was swearing up and down he was done with the game
Also one of my friends pointed out how all the bosses are just bigger versions of the normal enemies like if Jeff bezos was 5x bigger than a normal human and no one ever talks about that
