i wanted to ask if you use aim assist.and if i should or shouldnt use it.also i was going to say that what i use when i need to take a hero out quickly cause they are reking my team is the super charged sentry you will rek any saber hero in seconds even when they are blocking.

Amazing that in a game marketed as a shooter, they focus on handicapped heroes with spammy saber lunges. Not saying heroes are hard to kill if you have a good group of buddies, but those players who run around with a level 1k Anakin but barely broke 80 on their base classes are the bane of every match. And the best part is they don't even play the objective 90 percent of the time.
I know they won't, but I want Supremacy to drop heroes entirely. Or leave it to one hero on the field at a time.

I just want to point out to newer players (and I know BK addressed this in the video) that this video only details a few methods of playing. There are so many ways and options to play BF2 depending on your play style. I have almost 400 hours in this game and have had a good deal of success using guns and star card setups that aren't detailed in this video. So try everything out and find a setup that works for you, not necessarily what someone else tells you to use.
Will Becker good info, I had no idea what I was doing when I started, I have more of a clue now but still get my ass kicked all the time, just not so bad. What eats to me is the Heroes and there seems to be no way to beat them one on one(I am still working on Officer and Specialist, assault and heavy are in 100+, ranked 40). Do you have any tips?

@@terrydubuisson4209 I played for a while but stopped again. I got most heroes to level 20+ and all troop classes to 80+ I mostly used support with the 3 round burst gun

Never really considered the Bodyguard Star Card much, and its already helped a lot on maps like GA Naboo. Very informative, thanks for the vid!
For Heavy, the DC-15LE with reduced recoil and exploding shot is extremely useful. (You could swap out reduce recoil for increased zoom if you really wanted and it would still work well). Explosive shots make it so accuracy isn't *that* important, and you can just splash damage every enemy in your sight. Makes it extremely useful for clearing out large groups of enemies, as well as shredding hero's health. Lightsaber heros can't block the splash damage from the gun, so their health will deplete fast with a good few seconds of firing on them. Heavily recommend it.

I always thought that tighten up replaced the thermal detonator, so I never used it never knew it replaced the useless scan dart.

I do not agree with the shield on the specialist when you don't plan to get close. You have to give up the binoculars, which is essentially a wall-hack that allows you to spot enemy snipers or targets way before than they spot you. F -> spot someone far away (even without tagging him) -> F -> aim -> shoot the head as soon as he gets out of cover. Works every single time.
It works for getting setup you run with the shield then camp spawn point

@@budilamarius5053 I assure you, it's ton of fun on Hoth or other maps where you can see very far. It is not as easy as it seems as picking the right target that is not going to be hidden behind something is not a trivial problem.
If you want to snipe, it's the best you can do; that and equipping the NT-242. If you prefer to get up close and personal the other viable option is the A280 build with the shield. But it may be better to just pick an assault class by then, unless you are trying to kill heroes with the help of the grenade and the stinger pistol. (specialist has that niche too)
@@TerrifyingBird Not my slice of pie. Sitting still in one spot and shooting might be fun at first but after a a while it gets dull.
I only enjoy Heavy and Officer, mostly Officer. Also my opinion about specialists is that they are the most useless units, call me based but when i get team with 8 specialists , all camping spawn, never conquesting, its pretty much gg. I find myself trying to conquest C and there is nobody to be phisically present on the marked area to help take objective, i end up dying and useless snipers only get kills but they are not there to take.
Might be fun but in terms of utility, kind of a niche, depending on the map, but in most situations useless class.
2,3 specialists are fine but a time with over 30% specialists is most likely an auto-loss
While I didn’t agree with a majority of the star card choices I actually really appreciated the video cause it showed me that everyone should choose what they want to have for their setup, great vid man

For specialist I really like to use the stinger pistol card, since it can save you very often in close fights when your shot gun isn’t reloaded yet. Since the stinger is active like instantly it’s pretty useful (especially against heros)
Also if you are demo man with heavy go with barrage, impact grenade, and explosive sentry

I honestly have a ton of fun running an AOE setup for heavy. I've found the explosive shot for the DC15LE and supercharge sentry is amazing for getting around any corners, shields, and sabers the enemy is hiding behind

That Hybrid-Assault Specialist is a fantastic layout. I usually just played long range sniper with this class but the A280-CFE w/recommend cards makes this a really flexible and fun trooper. Great tip!

I love how when your online you have to unlock weapons from milestones and star cards from level ups so this is great
E-11D is my favorite assult blaster. It's effective at a pretty long range, I mean it's not the best at those ranges but mostly I just try to get closer, I mean there's not that many time where you are at a long range amd you can't just close the distance a little bit or get out of the situation, so I usually just get out or get closer if the range is to far. Because on close to medium rage, it is superb, for me it has the perfect fire rate to any situation.

The rush setup for specialist is surprisingly exactly what I had equipped. It’s amazing because I would get first place in any strike/extraction game from meleeing everyone at point to death lol

bodyguard is not the same now as it was then. It has saved me sometimes but I don't really know which is better.
Really the only difference nowadays is how bodyguard and disruption works-
Ngl the latter is pretty terrible nowadays
My new favorite set up for Assault is the EL-16HFE with improved range and reduced recoil. And the star cards I use is Toughen Up, Marksman and bounty hunter usually, sometimes killstreak Vanguard or recently Assault training. It's a great combo. Because if you land you headshots you can just keep firing and then you gain health with each one! 🤘

This tips were very helpful.
A combination of cards I discovered by myself has helped me a lot with the officer. With the star cards Recharge Command and Improved Flash Grenades, you can throw the flash grenade two times in a row, instanly killing or dealing a lot of damage to a group (including heroes), not to mention leaving them vulnerable for your team or you to finish them off.
for assault i also use the star card for thermenal detenator so it has a bigger range and a faster recharge time. i think its good because it does a massive damage to troopers and sometimes can take out groups of players.

@@MediumtiercommenterI named it after the fat scout subclass in TF2, which is heavy who primarily uses a shotgun. But since there were so many explosives in bf2, and the class is named the heavy, boom, fat demoman.
the only required card is the explosive sentry for the middle. And maybe barrage I have to check.
For other ability card options. Just have them filled with anything that explodes. This opens you up to keep the stock impact grenade, and take a non ability card.
Other options include:
Proximity grenade
Barrage
Ion torpedo
Improved impact grenade
Just anything that was used for pathetic 'defense' eww. Should be replaced with some cool ass, high damaging explosives.
You can also use the explosive rounds on the dsle

I’ve found the officer and heavy are the two classes I find the most fun and changeable. The gravy’s abilities and alternate abilities are so much fun. I always use barrage, and detonite charge, and those two abilities make me laugh so hard when I get a chain kill they weren’t expecting. With the officer, I only recently discovered the disrupted after this guy kept doing it and I was confused as to why my gun was blue. He killed me like 8 times because of it so I used it for the first time and damn it was satisfying to get my revenge.
And more on the support side defused is amazing at dealing with grenade spam in choke points

For the Kampagne mode, use disruption in combination with melee fighter and heal... trust me it’s op: you can spam disruption all the time so no one can kill you, then you just walk up to the enemies (wichs blasters are overheated) and smash them with your fist to instantly reset your disruption and continue spamming it. If you ever run low on health just press the button for heal ability :D

I just love support classes in general and the officer is my most developed character or first I maxed out. As it seems i play very different as a officer main looking at your star cards recommendation. But I will still consider changing them out and trying different ways to play the officer. Good video like a bit more depth for why certain weapons are bad. Now make a video about reinforcements and vehicle star cards

When it comes to the support ability of the officer I prefer the weapon boost because It is the most practical one if you want to support teammates especially if they use a Rotation Blaster
Mobile Sentry for the Heavy class is pretty underrated imo
you can catch people by surprise so easily because of how fast you can pop out of cover with it and if you're accurate with it you can melt multiple people at once

well, i tried to play with bodyguard in co-op and it seems to help. idk if that's just my skill coming back after a long break in playing swbfii or that's the star card, but it seems to me i'm dying less frequently. more testing needed but rn seems to have an impact
