I am not pro in crochet I can do basic lil chains , I am planning to start my hobbie again and was looking for a pattern to make a skirt for my twin girls for they 4th earth day and I love this one I will try it . Thanks for sharing ❤
You’re most welcome. 😊 This video is for 12m but you can make for them by just making sure the waistband fits around their waists( you can adjust to suit by making it longer). Hope this helps and you are able to make it. Thank you for watching! ❤️
@@kayj4657 I cannot give an exact amount at this time as I haven't made it for any other sizes but I would recommend to make as many rows that would account for the waist measurement of baby. Hope this helps :)
Hi! Beautiful pattern! How many stitches should i take for 8 years old girl at starting? And in every row we have to take two dc in every stitch or the next line will be single croche in each stitch? And then again in next row two dc in every stitch? Means in all rows we have to do 2dc in every stitch. Right?
Hi! I haven't made this for the bigger ages just yet you could try maybe 15 stitches but just remember you're making the waistband as long as need be to fit around the waist. Only the first round after the waistband you place 2 dc in ea st (This is to add some flur). After this you just put 1 dc in ea st in all the rounds after that. If you want more flur you could do a few more rounds of 2dc in each st but that's all up to you. Hope this helps!😃
Hey, I haven't made the skirt without it as yet so can't say for sure. You could try starting with the amount of ch sts that would equate to the waist measurement. Hope this helps. 🙂
Hey there, sorry this video isn't for absolute beginners but if you know the basics you should be able to work it out. Feel free to get the written pattern from my etsy shop instead. Hope this helps. :D
this is a beautiful skirt and u are obviously very skilled at crocheting but you are going way too fast, not showing what u are doing clearly and using terms that a beginner would not understand as they are not aware of what every stitch is called. to watch this tutorial u would have to search what all the stitch names u used are called and look up separate tutorials for them bc of how fast u are going. this was very hard to follow along with. absolutely no hate your work is beautiful just some tips for next time because i really wanted to use this video but i just cant follow along :(
Hey, thank you so much for your feedback! I'm sorry you couldn't follow along. I will definitely try and do some more beginner friendly videos going forward moving slower etc like you said.
Let me know what you guys think of this video! You can also suggest what you'd like to see me make next! :D

To make a smaller size you’ll do less rows?
Yes please, for a smaller size. Good luck!
@@chynna-crochets how many rows would you suggest for a newborn?

Hello,
How many single crochet stitches did you make after the waistband.??

Yes, a stitch count would be VERY helpful after each round so we know if we are doing it right and don't end up with a wonky skirt😏
What kind of yarn are you using?
Hi, it's RedHeart Classic yarn.
What is the gram? Is it a 4 or 3?
Thanks it's well explained
Glad it helped
