What he is trying to explain is that at the level of competitiveness that they manage nothing is simple, even if it appears to be simple as in the case of Jerry, the reality is that there is a lot of effort, training and dedication behind what appears to be simple, but other than that I firmly believe that Ermes will beat devon "easy".

I think ermes is stronger than Devon. By a lot actually. But Devon is in this sport forever. He knows every little damn trick. If Ermes has one litte weakness somewhere, Devon will use it. And I think Ermes knows it. For me Ermes is the clear favorite. But I would not be surprised if Devon wins.
Devon has a longest forearm than Ermes. Hermes hasn't done well against opponents with longer forearms than him like Kurdecha. He knows that, even knowing Devon has the best hand control adn insane wrist that even Levan was not able to flop or blend.

I still think if Devon never got injured he would of gave Levan a bit more struggle rounds 2-4. Yes he lose but as soon as Levan breath and sweat goes up it would of been a bit more struggle. Overall I think Ermes strength is too much for Devon and he can't rely on the deep kings like he did with Dave years ago.
Perhaps, but Devon handled Dave way easier than Ermes did fairly recently for both of them. Ermes should be the favorite, but he won’t tear through Devon like he tore through Jerry. Jerry’s style is a gimmick, and he’s useless if you don’t allow him to get into his lane.

Ermes is a better top roller and he also has a superb press. The way i see it, ermes toprolling him and transitioning to press will just do the job. (We all know in terms of raw strength devon is a bit weak, so i just dont see devon winning the centre at all)
