It’s like he recorded each word individually and composed the sentences as such. So good😂
🤣
Could it be 😂🤣
I laughed way too hard at this
🤣😂
I had to play it at 1.25 faster speed 😂
This is the exact smoker we have for my family, just finished setting it up (it's been sitting in our garage in the box for MONTHS lol) and am excited to start using it soon! :D

Great video! Thank you for such a well articulated tutorial.
Haha glad i found this great video, much appreciated. Instructions say not to use an extension cord but giess its ok as long as its a thick cord👍😉😁
I use your BBQ sauce Recipe because of how straight forward it was and easy. I change it to my liking a bit, but it’s my go to. I just came across this video and the seasoning of the masterbuilt electric smoker and felt so comfortable knowing that it was the correct way. Thank you!!
awesome

I could listen to you all day.

Where is the thermometer and did it come with that model? My old one had one inside
i had one of these but it litterally took a poop yesterday before i started. used it for 4 years but the electonics failed, yesterday i bought and used the ANALOG electric smoker way much easier and if anything fails it can be replaced. you don't need the electronics just a box heating element and a temp guage!!!
I have a Masterbuilt analog smoker. I just bought the digital model because I got tired of always having to manually mess with the temperature control!
@@1toymaniac all you needed was a temp controller from inkbird. It is highly accurate and operates the smoker by turning the power of and on. It has a thermocouple that tracks temp and keeps heat within half degree Fahrenheit
First, what you need? A SMOKER. Then, enjoy a nice sparkling water 😂
hello new subscriber of France. Can one thank you convert degree Fahrenheit into Celcius, very good video thank you .Pierre
Thanks 👍😊❤️
What is the yellow and silver cord in the back of the smoke that goes to the middle of the inside of the smoker? No instructions on what it does. My smoker is just beeping and not working.
I just bought this one. Does it work well in the cold/winter? I live in Wisconsin & I’m hoping to use it during the winter with it on my balcony
Yes it does! it seems very well insulated. has worked for us. let us know how it goes.👍
Fixing to order my second one , first one still works the legs just rusted to pieces
Hi good video can u use saw dust in these smoker's?
never used saw dust. the question would be is it clean saw dust. 🤔 we only have used wood chunks, some pellets and wood chips at this moment.
@@StatUpBox yes it is clean it comes from butcher and packer it is used for smoking meat just didn't know if it would work in this type of smoker .
Do I need to fill the water tray?
🤣😅😅🤣 man this guy is really good and funny. But he gets the job done. He lost me on the hout let.
😂😊👍
I have the same Masterbuilt digital electric smoker, with the window and the digital electric controller on top in the rear. It's less than 2 months old.
I cannot get it to stay on. How do you get yours to stay on? I My smoker began turning itself off on the second smoke. I filed a warranty claim on MB's website, and MB (Shannon S) at first emailed said they would send me a new controller if I gave them my shipping address. I did, Shannon acknowledged that, and then they sent me an email 6 days later saying I have never supplied the shipping address they had already acknowledged, so MB was canceling the warranty service.
what type of extension cord can i use, i have a 25ft heavy duty 14 gauge cord for my master built so wanna make sure , the brand of the cord is ridgid /....
will depend on the smoker. verify the electrical cord is rated for the same value as your particular smoker. you can google also your particular extension cord as well for manufacturers specs.
12 gauge would be better
Great video. Can someone confirm for me if I can just put pellets in this smoker instead of wood chips. I'm new to this but from what I hear it's okay to use pellets but just not too many. This is the exact make/model I ordered off Amazon today. Looking for confirmation. Take care.
Check your manual. My Masterbilt smoker says no.
No you can’t. Pellets get too hot for this smoker
@@Drej32123 Thanks. What's the danger though? I've used pellets twice already and the smoker struggles to keep 250 degrees. The manual states "never use wood chunks or wood pellets" and grant it I just checked the manual after my second smoke. So I guess I shouldn't use pellets moving forward but they seem to work really well. Is it a safety thing or something? Thanks.
@@nhgriff1 You're right, it's states "never use wood chunks or wood pellets". Do you know why though? I've used pellets twice (the only 2 times i've used the smoker and before seeing this post and confirming what was in the manual) and they seem to work really well.
how long should i let it cool down before i start cooking
you can use right away. just verify that the temp is not higher than your desired temp.👍😊
Can you use this for overnight resting for Brisket?
it seems to be insulated and hold well temp we would think so (but maybe just a few hours off may get cold overnight). but it also would depend on the outdoor temp .
@@StatUpBox couldn't you just keep it turned on all night so that meat can rest since this is an electric one? Forgive me I'm just getting into BBQ and been trying to find the best ways to rest meat overnight.
Just got this as a gift. There is another black tray that came with it. Maybe 10”x8” and 2” deep. I can’t figure out what this is.
The drip tray that slides onto the lower back side ?
he sounds like comedian Ralph Barbosa
My smoker manual told me to wipe the walls with vegetable oil before the initial burn. Ever heard of that?
have not heard of it before. but usually a damp towel meanwhile the glass is hot , is enough to clean it at the end of a cook out. but maybe there is a reason why they put it on print. hopefully anyone that reads this thread, can hit us with knowledge. thanks for sharing. good luck.
Well I think my buddy made many mistakes, since I see him put a torch to the hole to light up the chips, can You make a more detailed video of how to? Please.
I don't see anywhere for a drip pan. I see the water pan but no drip pan
When mine finished seasoning I noticed wood chips/ash on the actual electric coils. Is that normal? Did I add too many and they spilled over or maybe turned the thing too hard? Thanks for any advice from anyone!
Thats fine
You don't have to use the water tray when season a electric smoker?
its not a must, but it helps to keep the humidity up, that then helps to prevent meats from drying out.
You do not have meat in the smoker when seasoning it .
Just got mine. Are you supposed to spray cooking spray in it to coat?
Don't use cooking spray. Most contain silicone which is not good for you
Is a window really pointless? Doesn't it get covered in black after 4 or 5 uses?
a damp rag, at the end of every cook out meanwhile is still warm , will keep it clean for the next run. good luck.
can you do the season for a hour I people coming for supper tonight in 4 hours
How hot does the outside of the smoker get?
not much, you can place your hand on it with no problem. but the glass does get hot 👍
My husband just got his...the fan is not going on? At what point does it kick on??
I never heard a fan on mine at all... I didn't realize there was a fan at all...
@@Ashelynnt so if there is no fan what stokes the coals??..
@@goldencity777 I'm not exactly sure truth be told... the heat is electric so it doesn't go out or anything and the wood chips just smolder and create smoke... It seems like a well-insulated vertical oven that keeps a consistent temperature and holds smoke inside. I honestly don't think there's a fan, but perhaps... anyone know for sure out there???
Did you find out?
There is no fan on the masterbuilt electric vertical smokers
Can you smoke cheese in it
2 hours doesn't seem like a long time to burn off some factory oil and dust?
you can always give it more time. 👍
First step - Have a smoker 😆
🤣😂
How do I do this without an electric smoker?🤣
😂🤣
that “BELONG THERE” was soothing 😂😂
No oil? I thought seasoning was adding a layer of oil before initial use. Is this satire, seeing as the comments repeatedly keep saying this is hilarious?
I just picked up this exact unit and I'm looking to prep correctly before putting it to use. So according to this, just follow the guidelines as specified here and I'm good to go without using oil?
Thank you
You're welcome👍❤😊
