Have seen my noise reduction videos and they all basically say the same thing, these kits don’t really show a large reduction in wind noise sounds. I actually care more about one of the points you mentioned, keeping water and dirt out. It really bothers me when I get in and out of my White M3LR and see dirt in the door frames, and the rest of the car is pretty clean (if my car was dirty I’d wash it). Thanks
Well , if you think about it logically, it will help a lot with dirt and putting these seals will will no doubt help some with noise. , just simple physics Now how much is obviously the question So I think this is one of the best mods
I have a 08 Toyota sequoia with the v8. I can’t get it lower than 65dB at highway speeds. Next I will install some sound absorbing panels by the wheels to absorb road noise
Great video! 4runner and Tesla rocks! Which kit did you get and did it come with the roof rubber seal as well? How much wind noise reduction did you perceive?
I wonder if night time driving has something to do with the slight decibel reduction. Though tbh Taycan is pretty quiet even with single pane glass. I wonder if you saw the new Lotus Eletre that they want to release next year. I think if I am switching out from my Porsche, I would jump to that model. Unless I go with the Macan EV
55dB sounds attainable. Door panels and remove the funk to access the wheel wheels. Did you ever leave your groceries in the frunk before? Thats why I bought a Cybertruck. My friends' knew something was off. It might have been the mayonnaise jar bursting open with my half dozen eggs, and 1 gallon of milk, and 5 fresh cod. Given that it was a week or two later excuse me, I am not trying to be poetic when writing about those items in the frunk, mind you. I'm my not blaming the woman in my life. I couldn't hear of it. 55dB
I always leave food in the frunk. It’s not connected to the cabin so I don’t smell any food. 👍🏼 I placed a deposit on Cybertruck but not sure if I’m gonna actually buy it. If it doesn’t fit in the garage, I’m not gonna buy it. 👍🏼
Tesla has double pane on front and back? My 2022 is only fronts.. I think cabin or road noise is really bad in Model Y, it's like a deep rumbling bass booming sound inside :(
You know mine is not bad at all. I wonder if your doors are all set correctly. Expensive German cars sounds like how you describe the rumbling bass booming sound when you open one window. It’s because the seal is so tight and leakage is free that creates kind of like vacuum mode but you were saying that even though all windows are closed, you hear rumbling bass sound, it might be that one of the door or window is not closing or sealing properly.
I have new one for sale (got extra new one for reviewing). It’s for Model Y. Do you want to buy it from me? It’s the same kit that I used on the video. Let me know

Yea. It keeps the dirt and water away. There is a noise reduction also for my Tesla. Not much but I notice it.

So I think this is one of the best mods
@shdmd2118 yes. It’s good but i still hear wind noise. It reduces it just a little. Still cheap enough to try the mod. I recommend it. 👍🏼
@@TacticalExpedition Good my expectations will be met.
Can't wait to install mine for my model 3!
It’s good. 👍🏼
Thank you, this is promising my friend.
So you have dozens of unrelated links in your description but none for the noise reduction kit?!?
Yes. 🤣 thank you. J/k. It’s from RPM TESLA
Great video, I'll have to order one of these kits for my Model X. (I know that tree lined street very well, I drive it daily.)
It works well for me. 👍🏼

Decibel is logarithmic. So, even 10 dB difference means 2x the noise or 1/2 noise.
I should’ve used more professional decibel measure device. Hahaha
Great video! 4runner and Tesla rocks! Which kit did you get and did it come with the roof rubber seal as well? How much wind noise reduction did you perceive?
All your questions were the reason I made that video and I mentioned it. Thank you.
Excellent video. What brand Noise Reduction Kit do you recommend?
I got it from RPM Tesla or something like that. I’m sure you can find it anywhere and get same quality.
Where did you buy the seal kit? Do you have a link?
You can find it on Amazon or RPM Tesla 👍🏼

No. It’s definitely due to the noise reduction kit. I can hear the difference. 👍🏼

잘봤습니다. 저도 하고 싶은데 일이 너무 많네요 😅
아주 쉬워요 👍🏼

It's only in the front, not on the back windows.
Is it still holding?
Yes. 👍🏼
Where did you buy the Noise Reduction Kit from? Please post links.
I have new one for sale (got extra new one for reviewing). It’s for Model Y. Do you want to buy it from me? It’s the same kit that I used on the video. Let me know
I’ll be interested in buying at a discount. Send me a message
Where is the links for the kit?
I bought it on RPM TESLA but Amazon sells it too. 👍🏼
The gap on mine so big so no point of putting this in
Really? I wonder if you can take it to Tesla and fix your issue. 👍🏼
@@TacticalExpedition they would not fix it. They said within the measurement
not much of a difference
For me, there’s a big difference. It’s worth having it for not lot of money. 👍🏼
@@TacticalExpedition do you actually hear the difference though?
@@pkerry12 yes. for sure. I'm using both the door weather strip and the panorama roof weather strips. For me, big reduce on wind noise.
@@TacticalExpedition may I ask the product you bought? I might give it a try I have a 2023 Model 3 RWD
I bought it from RPM Tesla website. See if you can return it if it doesn’t work. Or buy it from Amazon. You can return it. 👍🏼
