Mike I've watched a few of your videos. You paint this picture like life in the philippines is all sunshine and rainbows The reality is it's not Yes it's extremely cheap to live and if you have enough money you can avoid alot of issues My thing is why should I go through my life avoiding issues or turning my nose at them It's so many problems with that country it's ridiculous but you guys on UA-cam make it seem like a poor man's paradise and it's getting old Let's talk about how the police bribe foreigners for no damn reason Let's talk about how many women are abandoning their kids on the streets and strangers end up taking them in Let's touch on the subject of politicians using their power to solve their personal issues instead of helping the country grow They haven't done much to help most Philippine people to find work People are forced to find work abroad because the country isn't making to moves to grow the economy Philippines is not that poor of a country that people in power are keeping people poor The government also makes it hard for foreign investors because the rich in PH want to keep the wealth to themselves instead of allowing investors abroad to grow the economy It's already areas all over that country that the average local can't afford to live so it's not like they are trying to prevent that from happening Mike it's so much more I can touch on those are just what came in mind It's alot more negatives to PH other than scammers and I hope you bring it to light

How i can tell you is nowhere is 100% perfect. I'm 68 years old and i had my own electronic specially service company back for 25 years when i was younger and was a millionaire. I live in chicago most my life it is turned into a cesspool of violence he had a police can tap you up here and they can do all kinds of crap but you don't think that happens where you're at? Don't do nuts and wrong and you'll be fine then here over two years like mike win had no problem but we don't go out making trouble for nobody. And you know what the guy would probably take 200 to 400 pesos on of speeding violation or something so you're looking at less than $5! How much are the bribes where you're at? They don't screw around by knee caps and stuff were fine the rest of your stuff i don't know if i didn't read the whole thing. It's peaceful we might have nice weather. Maybe you're jealous? I wouldn't go back home for nothing!
@@Charles-rd6ku Most countries in the world if you act like a normal human being you will be just fine that rule isn't exclusive to PH I don't know how long it's been since you been back to the USA but they have something called body camera's that record everything they are doing and the most beautiful part is that every officers camera is public record So if I do get brutalized wrongfully by police I will most likely have a lawsuit Another thing is 200-400 php adds up it's not like the police has limits on how many times they can bribe you I've been to countries in every continent never been bribed I've been to countries with similar economy to PH like Thailand and Laos and never been bribed or seen half the bs I seen in PH I'm currently in Uruguay and it has been a game changer If I was to choose a one place in SEA it would be Johor Malaysia safe clean modern business and tax friendly perfect for someone like myself I feel like the problem is we have lots of so called expats that's only been to 3-4 countries in their life they get to PH like it and think it's no where better than PH but that's just what I'm assuming and by the way I'm not jealous of the good weather I grew up in Florida and the weather is similar to PH maybe about 15 days out the year below 40f that's about the only difference and to be jealous of that is just flat out immature and ridiculous
@@jermiebalgoma6175 i left there when covid ended that's all i can tell you! I was in tampa for a couple years. I can only say that once you get retired in knowledge its not the same anymore and just watch the news.

Scamming is a great career for these young girls. Think about it. A Teacher in the Phillie Willie makes about $6,000 (USD). That's $60,000 in 10 years. These girls can make much more than that scamming people. And they don't have to go to 4 years of college and get a degree to do it. They also don't have to go to work everyday, like a Teacher does.
That's true, and who knows? It's not just one person, maybe more so she can scam even millions a year, so guys, you need to be very careful.

She soaked him for a lot of money and now that he's been totally soaked, she has to put him through the rinse cycle by ghosting him.. Then she repeats the scam with another guy. That's called: Rinse and Repeat. She's already a peso millionaire.
A lot of these women learn from other pros. Then set off on their own to make their money. They learn how easy it is to make the money, and money that most would never be able to get working a real job.
Same Modus Operandi. Rinse and repeat, but not to worry ... Karma is unforgiving.

I know one that was drawn into that, actually a few, moalboal is a common destination for those trips. This one even worked in a scam call center here on mactan. Once they go that route they will never change, they have handlers to make most of their decisions and call the shots to extract as much money from a foreigner. Its a shame that its so common here. All of them are cold and calculating and have no problem doing whatever they have to get what they want.

What I don't understand is what is with these guys who go buy lands and try to build a house and they are not even living in PH. There are no houses to rent? Some of these guys deserve to get scammed. You can rent for real cheap, why buy a house? specially under someone else's name. After you lived there for a few years and lived with your girlfriend for at least a couple of years, then maybe think abut building a house for her. I think the reality of this story is Sam probably is not retired or ready to move and he thinks by spending a bunch of money on this girl he is buying her love and she is going to wait for him, Wrong.

Good lessons, Mike. I met someone with a similar story as Angel's. She was just trying to survive, and taking advantage of the opportunities. Not my money, but I watched it happen to others.

1. Build trust. 2. Make it seem like it's his idea to buy land and build a house. 3. Get the money.

Definitely make sure the online girl is legit. Think Sams mistake was not being there for the purchase. All the time my Filipinas wifes family is letting us know about properties for sale in Cebu and we tell them no, not interested as we are in Florida. You would think they would give up but they still keep trying. Not that her family members are scammers but is a good bet they are going to make some money off the sale.

Terrific Video Breakdown. This Helps ALOT for guys who are so Quick to BOTH Instantly Fall in Love and Give out Cash Directly to Females. If the Other Guy was Smart in that Story, he should have gave the attorney his money to hold in a escrow or Trust Account to make sure the Funds are Distributed Correctly to the Correct Lot/Property and that it was a Clean and Smooth Transaction instead of giving her the Money like an idiot and trusting her Word.
ALOT of guys also do that same crap when it comes to getting an abortion. Giving a Chick the cash and Trusting her to make the right decision and when she changes her mind out of the Blue in his ass, he lost his money and has to commit to taking care of a child for 18 to 21 years he didn't want. If a Man was Smart, he'd go with her ass to the clinic and make sure the procedure is done and pay the facility directly himself and get paperwork proof it's done officially just like the attorney Example above. That's just my opinion.

It may be that both stories describe a woman that fell into being a scammer based on the opportunity that they saw. That is to say, they didn't start out thinking that they would bilk men out of money, it was just so easy to do that they couldn't say no.

There is a lot of scammers all over the world and with much bigger amounts. This is the duty to everyone ton be careful and manage their money with diligence and caution. She found an easy opportunity and she got it, as simple as that... Maybe this was the price to pay for a good lesson for him? "when you need little, nothing is ever missing!".

My friend married his friend's pregnant helper and she was from San Miguel also. He has since died but she got a nice house and money for her daughter from the Japanese government for a few more years.

I have an idea for you guys with all this rip off women stuff why not you just go down to the city mall or go on up the angeles or something spin 500 pesos which is about $9 and get whatever you want for the whole evening.$9 for 30 days is $270! The cost of the night in the U.S.

Sam got scammed! The girl saw how excited/eager he was and knew she had a big payday coming soon. This one I’d bet happens a bit but like Sam not many want to make it known they got used that way.

The first girl turned into a scammer if she is making her money by making up fake stories to guys. Guess the kickback money was not enougth and Angel had to resort to online scamming.
The second woman was a pro and knew how to play the game, that he willingly offered up his own money.

First story sounds like the guys could afford to have a good time so angel and others like that “help” them out and get their share from businesses. I’ll bet it happens ALOT with foreigners on vacation.

That's a good story to learn from. At first it sounded like a set up for a Polish joke. Kind of like: There was this bar with 2 Polish guys sitting at the bar and...." Lol!!! Now she off to the next victim. She played him like a Stradivarius. Great advice, live with someone for at least a year.
I don't see her as a scammer. These guys are just suckers. I've never given any filipina money over the internet.
Oh she is a scammer because she and other scammers know exactly what they are doing scamming vulnerable older expats out of their life savings. I don't feel sorry for people who scam and manipulate others out of money. It's wrong and downright criminal.

I gave up my old ways. I have been divorced twice, married three times.
Many had no hope for my present Wife to ever make it with me.
I still had brown hair, but dyed Black and Cobalt Blue on the sides. Even though my Wife's Family accepted me. Many others didn't.
This December will be 10 year married with my Filipina Wife and we have been together since 2012.
Since I my late 20s to my early 50s, I have always had one to three girlfriends at a time.
Before meeting my Wife, I made a very specific wish. That actually came true. Even though we had our moments, we made it with a healthy outcome.
I now live in the Philippines and is now my Home. And I AM happier than ever. And, I notice that I look younger and my wrinkles have lessened. But now I AM bald.😅
It's the same story in Thailand. The girls here get Sponsors. The guys rents an apartment for the girl to stay in and wait for his flight back. He says no more bars or ladydrinks to his girlfriend.
The moment he is on the plane, she is back at the bar, looking for more victims.
Guys get so stupid after a women fakes interest. It's a shame, but happens everyday. Some lose everything, others take about 3 months and wonder what happened.
