Hello, great video,I bought a new Schumacher Cougar when it came out,I eventually turned into a Cougar 2 with parts and wheels.i didn't touch the gearbox but it went well.
Another great upload - thank you, Richard! Hopefully, Schumacher will rerelease the Cougar 2 including some nice hop-up parts such as the alloy shafts.
Honestly, those would be great to have as well. TBH I doubt they will bring out the CAT 2000 or one of its iterations because of complexity of remanufacturing of parts, but it would be great as they are great buggies. Fingers crossed for a Bosscat rerelease for sure. Keep up the great work! @@lo2713
Funnily enough last night I was looking at a box of bits which was a storm truck which I converted to a buggy back in the day.Then It was canabalised for bits for other project cars but is mostly complete. Ill be watching with interest. Think ill get new turnbuckles though. do you think its worth spraying the Chassis back to color or not ?
If you going to run it its worth replacing parts that wear out, this will get a few runs, but ive got 3 other cougars that are my runners, i would look at getting the chassis redone but i allso like to keep some scars on them, that way i dont need to worry and can just run them 👍
Weekly episodes now!?!?, does this mean we'll be getting a theme song soon then? if so something between Magnum P.I. and Fraggle Rock would be just dandy!! wow, so many changes when compared to Cougar, please don't tell me this beauty has been waiting since 1993 for the "new and improved" ballraced steering set, wow. Now my 14 month wait doesn't seem so bad, lol. cheers mate.
😂 yeah, would be nice if the ballraced steering was on this, but its not essential. Prob wont be a weekly thing, but ive been trying to have a video out every weekend. But i wont break myself to do it. I do the youtube side as a bit of fun. And hopefully help people out 😁
@@lo2713Roger that, the only thing i make myself do when it comes to RC is my monthly walk/scale crawl during the winter months. How's your Quattro coming along? are you adding your lights? cockpit set?
@@MrFu75 its on the back burner for now. Gotta start getting cars ready for the big events this year. And working 6 days a week trying to save up for a new camera for filming. Think i need to up my game filming the big events. If it dont get the views i’ll ditch filming events and just enjoy the day 😁
@@lo2713Yes I did notice recently a lot of race footage doesn't get the views it deserves (watched a lot of modern buggy racing during my build this winter) a shame so many only watch latest unboxings or high end build vids. As for your events footage, I've enjoyed every minute, but the best stuff was when you were using a headcam, that footage was spot on, more of that please, A finalist flyboys get enough of the lime light lol, ..also if using a headcam you could title your next race video "POV fun time with Cougar" -seems a popular category, maybe worth looking into? cheers as always AB.
