thanks for posting. I saw lots of video’s with an awl repair, but yours gave me the “thermoplastic” confidence to try this method of bonding the two faces and it worked well :-)
Great to hear!
Thanks! What a FREAKIN' GREAT IDEA!!! I'm trying today!!!
Good idea I never would have thought to re-melt the rubber and re-connect it...
Hehe why not insert the rubber thing 1st then heat it after to Lessen the stress of the heated rubber😅
That's what I thought too! Great Minds think alike!
Yes we do this one all the time!

Ok thats nice, but I have a torn base and not a broken strap. What do I do then?
Throw them away and buy another at Walmart for 99 cents
@@canigetahoooyyyaaaaa7319 not everyone has a Walmart in they country
Yo kakatry ko lang po kanina ayos haha. Ginaya kita, lagaring bakal din ang ininit ko. Pero di ko pa po nattry ipanglakad. Salamat!
Thank you!
ok so what do i need to buy to do this? what's that strip metal thingy? the heat bonds the strap and the broken piece together?
The metal edge of a saw, and a gas cooker. Yes, the heat will bond the broken piece together.
In the past they use to sell spare parts but now they don't may be its a business policy
Thank you so much..
You're most welcome
Itna bhi jugad nahin karna hai😊
Why would you repair a 99 cent flip flop 🤦♂️
To not generate waste
