  • My buddy Chris (bimmermann18) came over to work on project Z. We intended to quickly swap the passenger seatbelt but you'll quickly see why this project took longer than planned. We also uncovered a couple of issues that will need to be addressed.

What would you like to see next on project 350z? I need to know if you guys are interested in seeing this project or if I should just keep focused on the other content.

It would be nice for you to show the actual plastic clips and screws that you removed to get to the seat belt assembly.

Agreed. I see a few additional things I wish I could slip back in to this one. Appreciate you watching.

The seat belt female connector with the orange reddish piece where the belt connects what is the size of the bolt there do you know?

I wish I knew, no longer have the car. Perhaps are parts diagram will ID the part?

@@CoderMan I actually fixed it. The bolt for that buckle as well as the other is shredded to hell. I just replaced both with the metric equivalent. I put the one on the passenger side on but not the driver. I have to put on the harnesses to so but thanks for the reply.

I honestly don’t remember. I suspect a tab or switch to depress, but I don’t have it in front of me.

I don't have the car anymore, but if memory serves you'll see a clip that you can run a flat screwdriver under to pop it free. If that doesn't work, let me know and i'll ask Chris.

That engine need a check, the knock made me cringe hard. Cool shit though.

Agreed. That is high on the priority list. We did speak with a few former Z owners who mentioned it could be the engine which has been sitting for > 1. Time will tell. Thanks for watching!

Motor sounds like it has Rod Knock. I'd do an oil check on her to make sure there are no metal shavings. 👍🏾🤙🏾

+Tuner Army Good call, could be the oil was super low but an oil analysis is a great idea.
