Holy cow! I’ve been looking for a solution to why mine suddenly became hard to crank. Some guy on a forum mentioned that sometimes they jump the sprocket. Your explanation and demo is just what I need! This is probably my problem. Thank you so much!
Mr.Tracy I can appreciate this I hope I never have this issue but if so good to know these types of videos aer here. Thanks for taking the time to share and explain this knowledge.
@@hammerdownwoodworkingtracy3679 I am stupid when I comes to the mechanical side of things. I had to have a friend help me install the shelix head. Seems simple enough and you did a great tutorial so I feel somewhat confident
@@hammerdownwoodworkingtracy3679 it never ceased up on me though and everything coming out is measuring even within 1000ths of an inch so now I’m wondering if it’s just my rollers that are out of whack. Wish I never would’ve noticed this haha. It hasn’t affected anything as of yet
I had that planer and used it for less than an hour. Ate up the blades, the noise was horrendous, and the chip exhaust was way too powerful. Returned it like a cheap rental suit.
Thank you
