Sir your teaching method is one of the best I’ve seen….repeating important things….breaking down concepts into simple bits….using best diagrams related to the concept…… But, there is just one thing I’d like you to please change and that is the volume of the music at the start of the video…..it is too high because most med students take lectures wearing EarPods… so it really affects the ears….Thank you
It passes in the upper part of the carotid sheath with the X, XI & XII nerves then leaves the carotid sheath above the posterior belly of the digastric tp pass deep to the hyoglossus muscle. The only nerve which passes through the whole length of the carotid sheath is the vagus nerve.
Structures in the Midline of the Neck: 1. Symphysis menti. 2. Mylohyoid raphe. 3. Body of the hyoid bone. 4. Thyrohyoid membrane. 5. Thryroid cartilage. 6. Cricothyroid membrane. 7. Cricoid cartilage. 8. Cricotracheal ligament. 9. First ring of the trachea. 10. Isthmus of the thyroid gland over the 2nd, 3rd and 4th tracheal rings. 11. Fifth tracheal ring. 12.Suprasternal notch: contains a. Jugular arch between the 2 anterior jugular veins. b. Inferior thyroid vein. c. Thyroid ima artery.
