  • Just did a basic vid to explain how the wiring works for a K series conversion into a civic or integra. I had a few questions and confusion around what the difference was between the various harnesses required for a conversion. In this vid i just briefly run through the harnesses and explain their purpose

Great explanation of the wiring of the K. This helped me a lot, especially RHD. Thanks from the UK 👍

haha bit of a basic one but had quite a few people asking about it so thought its easier to point them at a video than try and explain it every time :)

Just want to ask if you know oem acord euro wiring i got c101 plug and got the pinout for c101
But want to know about is the colour of wire is same in the acord c521 plug? Or a but different
And also there is a AFS sensor wire
Is the AFS is primary o2 sensor? Or bit diff?

I thought the CL9 had a C201 (for connecting chassis to engine loom). I recall most of the wires being a similar colour in an Accord Euro - there are however some extra ones for CAN communication and some missing like the primary air fuel sensor wires. This is because in an accord euro the primary 02 plug comes off the engine harness directly.

Do you have a link to the conversion harness you used for your swap since it is a carby? Hybrid racing says I need to use their universal conversion harness and not the 92-95 specific conversion harness

Just realized i forgot to reply to you the other day... hopefully the new vid helps out. I'd be going with the other style (non Hybrid) one. I think they are right Hybrid racing one wont work because the plug under the dash is not wired the same.

Hey mate just wanted to ask I’m doin same thing with carby eg converted to injected…the conversion harness I use has two wires which is one is o2 sensor and other one dat meant to go to plug at shock tower but in carby I Dnt think I hav the plug to connect…now here’s the thing…now after plug the rest the car won’t crank o start…also I’m using type r ecu prc wil that matter with imbolizer and all?

Hi Mate, car will crank over even with the immobilizer so it def isnt that. I'd check your grounds and the trigger wire. The trigger wire comes from the shock tower plug so you will need that plugged in. Its a round plug and on the drivers side shock tower. There is a 2 pin one next to it which you also need for the conversion harness

one more thing we worked out while trying to help out another guy online is that you may have to supply 12v to a yellow/black wire in the round shock tower plug. You need to check if this has switched 12v with multimeter and if it doesnt you'll need to provide it switched 12v power. This could be your issue.

Ok thanks will check on it wen we work on the car…

@@teamaxlestands hey men just an update car cranks now was due to auto shifter plug not connected..now car cranks but does not start…ecu is not turning on…coil hav power but no pulse…no signal cmg threw ecu…using type r prc ecu whc does not hav immobiliser? Car was auto n carby

@@111SHAHIL yeah man that was the same issue the other guy had. If you have a carby car just double check your yellow/black has power when the ignition is on. I used the power from the black and yellow on the 2 pin plug to power the yellow/black too. I think this is because we dont have the main relay in our car so that wire never gets a voltage when the ign is on.
