that's a good looking robust full frame on this cars. I didn't know that., wish they weren't so small. really too small for todays traffic. someone would drive over you at a stop light forgetting you are down there.

Just look at it as your building a step up Go-Kart
Just use 40# or 35# grit to take down to bare metal. Do one section at a time. One fender then the door, quarter panel, trunk lid. I used to work in a body shop back in the late 80s early 90s and that's how I tackled car's and truck's. When we did full body and paint job's. It would be nice to have someone that can sand blast it that would come to you and let you know what's best to use on it. They have those moble guy's that come with there set up to shop's now to blast car's right in drive ways or shop's. Any way it goes your going to be filling the car with metal and body filler if your doing a Kustom. If your going to try and do metal work with led it's going to take to long where you'll loose interest in your project. Stay focused on your list of thing's to do so each thing that gets done you can cross it off your list.
I've built a few rides and that's how I got it done and kinda figured out what it was going to cost for each thing that was going to get done. And you get to know the professional that do what they are good at. Some thing's your going to out source the work. Most of the old timers I worked with either retired or past away. Now I'm the old timer.

My brother has a 1964 Fiat roster he's own since 1973 he had it restored year's ago, but it's time to restore it again. I'm thinking of doing a body swap. That's what really needs. It has a Datsun engine in it. With VW brakes set up.
Myself I think it needs a modern up date with everything new under it. Then do all the body modifications.
