This house is stunning, it sits so perfectly in this valley-like setting and the distribution of buildings amongst the tropical trees and plants gives it the vibe of a tropical resort retreat. Another great project! ♥
Absolutely love the simplicity and serenity of the building and interiors! Also adds so much room for owners to give their own touch and memories to the house.

I have watched many of the Local project videos and find them throughly enjoyable! In this video the commentary used the word 'stunning ' in reference to the Architecture. I believe that word applies equally to every phase of the project. Truly amazing!

I never knew architecture could be so spiritual. Specially a cabin where the electricity is spotty and sewage questionable. And at the bottom of a wash? Nice view though

So, you drive down the driveway; then what? Where do you park? How do you turn around? I didn't room by the boat. It was never explained how the parts fit together and we didn't see the. interiors of most of the rooms (saw the bunk room 5 times though. These videos are always like. this: they are intent on showing how sculptural and avant garde the houses are, but we never see the floor plans or even all the rooms. Are they objects de arte or are they functinal?
I sort of have to agree with the other commenters that the architecture is striking, but I sort of think the interiors are sort of uninspired and boring. Sort of.
You're sort of right. I love the architecture but i sort of didn't like the interior design. But i sort of think that the designers sort of did it intentionally, in order to sort of draw the attention from inside the house to the nature surounding the house. Sort of!
Kauri = co (as in ‘cove’) ree. Nikau = knee - co (as in ‘cove’). Roll the ‘r’. ‘au’ = ‘oh’ in Maori. Put some respeck on it. 5 vowel sounds. Not too hard. Intelligent people playing the dummy when it comes to correct pronunciation of Maori names. If you were building in France of Spain, you’d show the respect to put in the effort to pronounce the Spanish or French pronunciation of names correctly. Do better bro.
