Bad idea, Richard will strip Neiman Marcus of all its assets followed by Neiman having to pay rent, reduce staff and than start closing stores, look what he did to zellers , the bay , lord and Taylor and Saks, dont say I didnt warn you!
Neiman Marcus knows their customer? What? They don’t even know what designers are popular. I worked there and they are very much out dated and it if touch with that their customers want. If they did they wouldn’t be in financial problems right now.
I agree, the service of The Bay Store is getting worse, they are always understaffed, and they put some on sale items as final sale so that items can't be returned. I shopped there less often now.
It started in the 1980's with the consolidation of regional department stores and then selling the same thing in all the stores.
They can't even operate their escalators in their stores due to cost savings.

that's the whole Baker VC model unfortunately - they are not in it for retail
Sorry can you please tell me if NMG was already sold or will be sold in 2025 ?
Keep Newman Marcus alive!
This is bad luxury is over Neiman Marcus will be ruined
you bet, hbc will strip all assets and sell them and than make neiman pay rent and than start the reduced staff levels and dumpy stores
I think that NM's best years ended about 1992.
Honestly it's probably a property asset play than a retail play
Can't even find staff, let alone customers at the bay...

I love business consolidation.
We should be appalling to tourists
I thought the Bay was going bankrupt?
More job shortages...
Who physically shops in a department store these days?
People who go outside into the real world
Rich people.
I do… every Weekend
Disgusting.
