Your ability to articulate and impart the information on this video is off the charts. Beyond me getting in the gym and applying your technique I'm still marveling over the talent you have to teach! Suddenly today I just found out about your channel and will be diving in to your entire collection of videos God bless!
Excellent and RKC hardstyle aligned. Thank you for sharing. Finally someone who performs this advanced VWC movement correctly, like I was taught by Pavel and even StrongFirst wasn't 100%. I love this 3 stage rocket movement for VO2 max.
I love your videos! I'm getting into kettlebells now and the techniques of everything and I have a question. You advise on keeping the bell as close to the face and body as possible, but today for example I was watching Denis Vasilev's video (Kettlebell Sport Snatch introduction by Denis Vasilev_Episode 1) and at 10:20 he's showing the so called "acceleration pull" where he kind of gets quite away from the kettlebell. Why are those two recommendations so different or maybe I'm getting it wrong?
Appreciate you watching! What you are referencing is a kettlebell sport technique. The intent is different and not something I have the experience to comment on.
Is this a total different style to many other videos as I see the grip is totally different, as not diagonal across the palm, also bell swings over the hand at the top and not around the wrist on the way up?
Absolutely! The kettlebell snatch is an explosive ballistic that will train power while the Turkish get up will train slow strength/balance. Think of them as yin/yang. Hope this helps! :)
Probably the best video I’ve seen covering snatch technique
Appreciate ya watching
That high swing in the beginning resembles a KB high pull if you can tackle a single-handed swing. By the way, excellent tutorial on the snatch!

Personally, I am much prefer the swing, as it is a more functional exercise and it keeps the time over tension.
very useful~ thanks~
Zach that is great video!!
Thanks Chris!
It looks so cool
Way to go…great explanation
thank you
Great vid!!
I kind of have it with my right arm, but I keep on banging my left wrist ocasionally :/
Why do so many people "spit" when exhaling during kettlebell work? Never understood that.
Hi, whats the purpose of this movement?
Thank you!! Great pointers!
👌Thank you
Most welcome!
trying to practice snatches today, realizing I don't know how to TGU 1:43 💀
Is there a reason to do the snatch if you're already doing Turkish get ups?

I wanna make a shirt that says LUNGS, BUNS, & GUNS 😅
I’ll buy one
Il like your vidéos
Thanks!
Snatch should be done with a competition kettlebell, much easier
Great video, very good, but you talk way to much.
