You have just stumbled upon one of the best bands to dive down their rabbit hole. Have fun cause with 7 studio albums and many live albums without a bad song on any of them. Along with the offshoot bands. Like Mark Tremonti, the guitarist band called Tremonti, 5 albums, and Myles Kennedy solo work and his singing for Slash. You will be able to spend a lot of your life with Alter Bridge, Tremonti, and slash. Enjoy. All us Alter Bridge fans have.
you can listen to Alter Bridge's entire discography and you will not find a bad song. Music, voice and lyrics are excellent. Mark Tremonti's (guitarist) solo albums and Myles Kennedy (vocalist) solo albums are excellent too.
Fantastic band, I saw them live in Glasgow many years ago. Blackbird is a standout song of theirs. Also, the lead guitarist, Mark Tremonti has some fantastic solo music.
Glad you like Alter Bridge, they are my favourite band of all time (and I'm 68 years old), why not try a live recording of theirs, 'Fortress' live at the Royal Albert Hall. Alter Bridge formed after Creed disbanded and reformed with a new lead singer, Myles Kennedy, (who also sings with Slash). They have released seven albums in 19 years. I saw them live at 'Download' last summer 🙂🤘
@@jensr.3409 Exactly! They are not Creed with a different singer. They are four band mates that respect each other and make great music. Myles Kennedy is considered one of the greatest vocalists of all-time by many in the world of rock.
@@thebest3921 You need to react to a live version of Blackbird. Try Live from Amsterdam or Live from Royal Albert Hall with the Parallex Orchestra. You won't find a better vocalist than Myles Kennedy or guitarist than Mark Tremonti. Together they are amazing!
One of my favourite bands. They formed from the ashes of Creed in 2004. They were fed up with Scott Stapp (Creed vocalist). Too much partying and drinking. So they brought in Myles Kennedy for vocals and he is also a great guitarist. Mark Tremonti (also guitarist) co-writes most of the songs with Myles Kennedy. Try Blackbird live from Amsterdam. I think you will like that one. It won several polls in guitar magazines for best guitar solos Or try Words Darker Than Their Wings from the Royal Albert Hall. Myles's vocals are amazing in that one Myles and Mark both have great solo work as well. Myles also sings with Slash's band. Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Myles did a great duet with David Draimen singing The Sound Of Silence live in Houston. Actually Scott Stapp has just released some new music and it is pretty good. Plus also Creed are reunited for a tour this year. Sounds like they have worked out their differences. Alter Bridge are still continuing as well.
It was your words, rather than the music video, that reminded me of another song in particular, AND A GREAT rabbit hole that you should strongly consider going down. As a personal favor, would you check out “Melissa” by The Allman Brothers? I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written. RIP Gregg Allman. One of the founding members of the band, it’s the first song Gregg Allman ever wrote. He was 17 when he wrote it. As the story goes, it wasn’t about any girl/woman in particular, but as he was writing it, he needed a girl’s name to complete the song and it HAD TO HAVE 3 syllables. This, according to Gregg Allman himself. SOOOO…the band was on the road, and it was Gregg’s turn to make a grocery store/beer run. While shopping, he overheard a Latina woman, calling out for her granddaughter…Melissa!! Melissa?? Suddenly, it clicked in Gregg Allman’s head. THAT’S IT! And just like that, the song was finished. It remains a timeless classic. Many refer to the song as “Sweet Melissa”, because that’s how the lyrics go, but the title is simply “Melissa”. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU to journey down the Allman Brothers rabbit hole and PLEASE begin with this masterpiece, from the album “Eat a Peach”, which is loaded with great songs. The band is considered “Southern” rock, BUT trust me, The Allman Brothers are a unique Southern rock band, unlike any other. Peace my friend ✌️
That's an amazing song. Alter Bridge is my favorite band since 2012 and I think they're great. Thanks for react to them. I suggest you songs like 'Before tomorrow comes', 'One day remains', 'Blackbird', and the entire last album called 'Pawns and kings"
another band that I discovered relatively late, I was actually a fan of Creed at the beginning, until I found out that they were a Christian band, Alter Bridge was exactly what I needed, the same guitars and song structures as Creed, but it has nothing to do with Christian themes, just life experiences, it helps of course that the band consists of 3/4 Creed members
Much heavier and intricate guitars than Creed. Plus awesome guitar solos - sometimes 2 in the same song💪 This song (from debut album) is not indicative of AlterBridge’s sound. They progressed significantly on their next album Blackbird and beyond that!)
Alter Bridge is one of those bands that in a just world would be the biggest act on the planet. Others have mentioned the live performance of Words Darker and I concur but don't miss the studio version of Blackbird!
This was from their first album. Every album after this got better and better. You're on the AB journey.
You need to listen to words darker than their wings live at Albert hall. INCREDIBLE VIDEO.
Thanks for the recommendation!
@@SaeedReacts. its awesome. You gotta do it 🤘

Alter bridge actually has nothing to do with Creed, except that 3 members of Creed are in the band

Lead singer Miles Kennedy has done a lot of work with Slash (Guns N Roses)

First time hearing. Actually enjoyed it . Tx Saees. Greetings from South Africa
Me too! Love discovering new sounds and artist. Thanks for watching. Greetings from Belgium.
Myles Kennedy is absolutely brilliant 💯
Alter Bridge! They are the gods of hard rock right now. They don't have bad songs, so be free to choose whatever song you want 😂
Enjoyed this a lot!
Welcome to the AB Fam. They are awesome live, they have NO bad songs and their B-sides should be made into an album!
