Do you have problems with birds stealing your basket lining ? I do despite me leaving dog hair which they love in an old bird feeder. My soil keeps falling out !
I have the same problem. I placed a Cd by the basket but it doesn’t seem to help. Anyone has a solution?
I would first line the basket with a cheap, thin landscape cloth before putting in the lining. It will make your whole planter look black instead of showing the lining, but it should protect the lining from the birds. I've seen people use chicken or dog food bags too. If you turn the bag inside out it won't look like a feed bag.

So funny! On weekend I planted large tall pot with the black cherry supertunia with a pink supertunia (can't recall name-not bubble gum) & the same others you used except I had no idea there was a creeping jenny green- all mine are lime/bright green & I prefer your green! Anyway, at the time I thought I was really stepping out & Laura would never combine these colors- then you did!!! Thanks for trying this red! Loved this video & happy you left the Oops! Thanks Laura.
Red's my favorite color but I exclude any red with orange tinge- they're a 100% No-No for me!

I hate to say this, bc I love the videos but I think the only way to evolve from here is a TV show! I would rather watch Laura on national television then half of the shows out there. I don’t know why HGTV or DIY Network hasn’t contacted yet! Proven Winners can still be a partner but on a different level! I am hoping it would get more Proven Winners in my area of Southern Indiana! 😂😘

Absolutely beautiful! I also love using Diamond Frost Eupborhia in my hanging planters and containers. Good save on the falling planter. I have had that happen with hanging baskets and hanging planters. Most of the time all the plants survive. Great video!
Omg! This same thing happened to me when I was planting my baskets that I put over the railing on our front porch. Got it all planted and then the whole thing fell over and upside down. My plants didn’t fair as well as yours but they are bouncing back slowly. Love this combo!
Hi, I live in South Carolina, zone 8 and I love creeping Jenny, but mine always start to get brown underneath and have little black dots on the leaves by mid summer and look terrible. I water and use fertilizer. What could I be doing wrong with them?
