Can't help thinking that Amorim's comments are damage limitation, and it's damage to his own reputation he's worrying about. His comments would make sense if there was a realistic possibility that he was about to offload all the dross and get lots of new players in, but as he's likely to be stuck with the bulk of this squad at least until the summer his comments can only be damaging. That United squad won't be thinking "We'll show him" and start playing well, they'll be thinking "We've seen off plenty of other managers, you'll be gone soon enough."
We are playing counter attack football with 3421. It's why it only worked away to the better sides. 3421 is not anything new it's been done before and don't work against 90% of the league. A team needs to lucky in 3421 playing in England. You basically need a kante in his prime.

Amorim's system doesn't suit the EPL. How many teams in the top 6 play his system of football? His system opens spaces in midfield and defense, makes us vulnerable at the back, you can see Ugarte leaving it all out on the pitch but it doesn't seem to be enough cos his partner, Mainoo is constantly wrongly deployed (by Amorim) as part of a double pivot. The three at the back system just isn't working. Recently there seems to be a mentality change, we saw the players fighting, running all over the pitch against Arsenal and Liverpool but we should have known they wouldn't be able to replicate those performances for long, at some point against Southampton (that was the better side for most parts that match), Ugarte was taken off due to fatigue, we've also heard Bruno's tired, and this is expected cos of how these guys try to be everywhere on the pitch. After those two matches, those gaps couldn't be covered anymore, and we were exposed against Southampton and Brighton. I don't know which meeting united fans attended and decided every other person is at fault but the manager, I'm glad I didn't attend that meeting. Amorim's system doesn't suit Manchester United and he doesn't seem to know another system. This talk of "if he changes the system, the lazy players have won" doesn't make sense. You're there as a manager to improve the team, signings or not. We're far from the summer transfer window, is this how he'll improve the team by throwing them under the bus with the media? Ugarte's efforts will yield good results if he's paired with a DM, Ruud put Casemiro there and we saw results, those performances were not due to "interim Manager influence" ruud actually made the right decisions like dropping Eriksen (ETH's favorite) and bringing in Ugarte, that midfield was clearly stabilized and one man that benefitted from it was the playmaker, Bruno, scoring 4 goals in 4 matches, overall scored 11 goals and conceded 3 in 4 matches. With Amorim's system we can't win more than two consecutive matches. Everyone is talking about new signings, the are no players in the market tailor-made for Amorim's system, they'll still need time to adapt, they'll still struggle. It's not going to be an automatic fix, we just have to move away from this 3-4-2-1 system. There are other factors that could have prevented other managers from winning the EPL with 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 at Man united, not that those systems haven't been proven to be good.
@manvirshergill1739 who are the players tailor-made for his system? Even if he brings the entire Sporting Lisbon squad to Man united, they won't dominate the EPL. As long as he keeps believing one DM will protect his defense and cannot get his players to retain possession like Guardiola does, Ugarte's efforts will be futile most of the time. You mean we can't play three straight matches using his system without losing one? These players will move to other teams and do well.
I don't think it's the worst team. The players on paper are actually good and we've seen they can play well. It's just their performance, for some reason the players only show up when they want to. Their performance is the worst from a united team in history
I'll continue to say this. United fans should boycott the games, home and away, until united get to 40 points this season. The players are dreadful and lack commitment and responsibility. Until the fans show their disgust at what's happening. nothing will change.

Amorim is United's worst managerial signing ever. Plays a totally different system to what the current average squad plays, and have no money to spend on new players. Amorim calls them the worst team in the club's history - how does he think that's gonna end? It's gonna end with players downing tools, and him losing his job. Amazing.

the fact that you say this with confidence is Exactly why fans should back Amorim over the players 😂😂😂 players accepting the worse instead of proving him wrong is EXACTLY why we should get rid of those that do that 😂
It’s maddening how all United fans have accepted your new manager CANT coach your players and are happy to give another manager who can’t coach players the finances to buy his own players when he’s clearly a clown.
Man Utd made a mistake by dismissing Sjolskaer. He had 8 wins and 3 draws in his 1st 11 games. Then problem then was the likes of Pogba, Jesse and Martial.. And Maguire to some extent. The 1st 3 should have been dismissed and Sjolskaer given more money to buy players of his choice. If memory serves me correct, besides taking us to 2 finals and 1 semi final, he also took United to second in the Premier league, losing by 4 points to City.
Liverpool rejected him for good reason. Not because he's a bad coach but because his attitude is questionable. He also has an ego which is evident in his style and his interviews with the media.
@ He tried playing mind games with Liverpool's owners by going to West Ham when he was initially talking to us. He condemned his own United team in public by calling them the worst in history. That is his attitude.

I would take 16th this season if it means we improve in the long term. Arsenal and Chelsea suffered for like two seasons and came out better and have sustained development and potential success.
It's not a deal you can take where you choose to finish in a horrible position for it to be better. It doesn't work like that.
@@simonjrgensen6761it doesnt..
but WE KNOW we need signings for the new system..
😊
Relegation is the only way to get rid of players. They are paid to much to sell.
Amorim is United's worst managerial signing ever. Plays a totally different system to what the current average squad plays, and have no money to spend on new players. Amorim calls them the worst team in the club's history - how does he think that's gonna end? It's gonna end with players downing tools, and him losing his job. Amazing.
as if the playrs were good in a 4-2-3-1 under ten hag
Shows he's an overrated manager. if he is as good as the media hyped he wouldn't be stepping in this shitshow of a managers seat just because its m@NcHeSter Un1teD and pass the job to somebody else
@kukunase1686 Who said they were?
the fact that you say this with confidence
is Exactly why fans should back Amorim over the players 😂😂😂
players accepting the worse instead of proving him wrong is EXACTLY why we should get rid of those that do that 😂
@@Akeem-uk6pl Leaders are meant to inspire. If you call the people you are leading rubbish, it won't end well.
Still booted out arsenal
In 1973/74 I thought we would never go down. That team was loved by the fans but we did. This team is definitely the worst
Worse than the '33 and '63 sides, surely not
Team mudded
It’s maddening how all United fans have accepted your new manager CANT coach your players and are happy to give another manager who can’t coach players the finances to buy his own players when he’s clearly a clown.
Worst United side in the Premier League era and the worst I’ve seen in my life.
Never ever thought I ever see these two team up
Manchester United manger is the next 2.0 Andre v Boas he was a flop back to the drawing board for sir Jim Radcliffe 💯 💯 lol🤣🤣
What a pair of muppets, an embarrassment to both teams.
Robbie doing vids with goldfish😢
didn't aftv collab with united stand back in the day
I don't understand the hype of Amorim.
Pure cope
Liverpool rejected him for good reason. Not because he's a bad coach but because his attitude is questionable. He also has an ego which is evident in his style and his interviews with the media.
@@MadLFC fully agree.
@MadLFC what attitude?
@ He tried playing mind games with Liverpool's owners by going to West Ham when he was initially talking to us. He condemned his own United team in public by calling them the worst in history. That is his attitude.
First the worst
Amorin wants out. Simple as that
How can a so called top manager only have 1 system of play? 6 losses in 8. Shambles
We should discuss the worst blogger ever. Goldbridge wins by a mile
